2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ Rubicon Poison Spyder Rock Crawler. I recently completed this build, but not before finding out my wife"s pregnant. I went with Poison Spyder for all body armor, with the highline front fenders that allow easily running the 33"s with a 2.5" lift. This is very ideal for rock crawling because it keeps the center of gravity down. All of the Poison Spyder components and hinges were powder coated to provide a very durable finish. The lift uses Rancho springs with Rough Country shocks. Teraflex adjustable trackbar and quick disconnect extended sway bar links. The new red urethane body-mounts make it feel like a new jeep. The hood had the bottom 2.5 inches chopped off to make way for the highline fenders. The OEM side hood latches disappear and hood pins now hold the hood in place. The Poison Spyder hood louver and vented aluminum inner fenders keep the engine bay cooler. The body has been wrapped with Desert Sands Flat Metallic high performance Avery automotive vinyl with flat black honeycomb accents. The engine is the original 4.0L I6 and starts and runs strong. This was the best engine ever made for the wrangler. Still has a long life ahead of it. The 6-speed manual transmission gives you complete control. This Rubicon was built with 4.11 gears so the 33"s don"t feel out of place. The rear tailgate hinge was replaced with a heavy duty hinge to support the 5 wheel. The headlights were upgraded to Halo LED"s. I included pictures that show how the integrated halo turn signals look. The pics show the halo without the inner headlight turned on. The tail lights were replaced with Poison Spyder flush mount LED"s. I also added an amber led strip above the Poison Spyder logo on the inside of the front fenders that act as a unique running light (last pic). The windshield was also replaced with new glass.
The Jeep also comes with the original hard top (in great condition) and storage cart, and a brand new (in the box) Bestop Trektop NX. I also have the wall mount for storing your doors when not in use. It easily mounts to your garage wall and keeps the doors safe. It is also brand new in the box. Obviously I wasn"t planning on selling this build so quick. Reason I have a bunch of things still in the box. I took a lot of pride in this jeep and it shows in the details. The rig looks even better in person than in the photos (looks like a brand new jeep). You will not find another TJ like it. Gets compliments everywhere it goes.
