Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 2006 Jeep Commander is a modified vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great and is used as a daily driver. Seller"s Notes Reason for selling. I want to buy something brand new. Not interest in any trades. Trade requests will be ignored Starting bid is set to what CarMax offered. If it does not sell I will just trade it at carmax. Vehicle Details Vehicle History: - Two owners, myself, and a family friend. - No wrecks - Previous owner had kids and dog. Stains and dog hair present. - I owned the vehicle for 2 years only driving it during winter - All owners were non-smokers Comes with Factory Remote Start I just got the oil changed with high mileage full synthetic Comes with a full tank of gas. Cosmetic Issues: - Rust spots next to gas cap door - Metal plate on interior roof where DVD player was. DVD player was broken so it was removed. - Front interior door handle plastics are broken. All Jeep Commanders have this issue at some point. The handles still function and do not rattle and are not loose but it is only a matter of time before they get worse. - Middle seats are very stained due to kids. I tried shampooing it which made it a little better. It needs to be steam cleaned. - There is a dent / scuff in the bottom drivers door due to some minor accident the previous owner had. I think they bumped into a parked card or something similar. Mechanical Issues: - Middle seat vents that are on the center console are broken due to kids kicking them. - It has been sitting for 5 months. The brake rotors are rusty. I did not drive it enough recently and it has not cleared up completely yet. It feels like it has a warped brake rotor due to a rust spot. It should clear up once you drive it for a couple of days. Parts included: - All metal replacement interior door handles for all 4 doors. Never got around to installing them. - Tie rods, these were purchased but not replaced because the originals are still in good condition. Mods: - 3 inch lift - Alloy Wheels - 7 inch stereo head unit with Apple Car Play and Android Auto - K&N Cold Air Intake - Interior and Exterior full LED conversion. All LEDs are pure white. - Rear A/C Delete, The rear A/C for the very back seats on these is notorious for leaking and being a general pain so it was deleted. - Stainless Steel cat back exhaust. It sounds very good! It does not drone. - Weathertech floor mats and rain guards Replaced Parts by Me: - Had a coil pack go bad. Replaced them all. - Had a injector go bad. All injectors were replaced by previous owner so I just replaced the one. - Shifter knob. I replaced it with a generic momo knob. - Driver door seal. Replaced with OEM mopar part ordered from mopar directly. - All interior and exterior incandescent bulbs were replaced with pure white LEDs - Battery - Every single last A/C part under the hood down to the last o-ring. The evaporator core under the dash is the only A/C part that is more than 1 year old. - 3 tire valve stems. This also means those TPS sensors are new as well. How I got 3 broken valve stems in 2 years, I have no idea. . - All 4 tires are 2 years old - All exhaust manifold studs. The exhaust manifold studs on these are known to break. Several did, they were all replaced with aftermarket studs that don't have this problem. Parts I was told were replaced by the original owner: - All 4 brakes and rotors (They don't look like they are from 2006) - Various bushings and front suspension parts (I see bushings that don't look like they are from 2006 and the shocks do not look OEM) - All injectors (I confirmed this) - Iridium Spark Plugs (I confirmed this, Also checked the plug gap was correct) Exterior Interior Download the Motors app
