Vehicle description
Up for sale is my 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10, Quad Cab Viper Truck. This awesome truck has the powerful Viper 8.3L 505cu.in. V10 engine with 500 hp and 525 ft.lbs of torque. It has low milage for its age and runs and drives great. This particular truck has the factory tow package with moonroof and the stock winged aluminum bed cover. The truck is loaded with all the popular power features everyone loves to have. Like keyless entry, power windows, locks, mirrors, seats, cruise control, adjustable pedals. This was the last year of production and the only year with the 2006 exterior and interior updates. They made a total of 1,973 Viper trucks in 2006. Of those 1,973 trucks, 1,309 were quad cab versions. Of those 1,309 quad cab trucks, 418 came in the color “Inferno Red Crystal Pearl Coat. This truck is 1 of those 418 trucks made, making this Viper truck a special rare beast . The truck was recently serviced to include: - Engine oil change with Mobil-1 Full Synthetic 15w-50 oil. (Its the recommended oil weight in the Southwest) and a Viper oil filter - Upgraded JTSV steel braided engine oil cooler lines - Mopar Champion spark plugs - Mopar drive belt - Mopar coolant with 180 thermostat and new radiator cap - New valve cover gaskets - New Interstate battery from Costco - Rear differential serviced with Mobil-1 full synthetic 75w-140 gear oil with two bottles of LS additive. - New left and right front Moog wheel bearing / hub assemblies - New EBC Green Stuff brake pads with EBC slotted/dimpled rotors all around - New locking rear tailgate handle with slow assist damper - New wiper blades - K&N drop in, high flow reusable air filter
- Custom exhaust using a high flow Corsa stainless steel muffler and Y-pipe with the rear non-monitored catalyst removed for extra flow. The stock monitored catalyst and stock exhaust manifolds are still in place. It also has a factory style stainless steel tip with an amazing V10 growl without being obnoxious. Note: I kept the non-monitored rear catalyst, these can go with the truck, if desired.
- I had the factory wheels stripped and refinished earlier this year with new tires installed. The tires are Continental CrossContact RX 275/45R22 (112W). The ride height is equivalent to stock with a better load and speed rating, along with improved mpg. I went this route because the stock size isn"t as popular as it use to be, and good choices are limited for everyday performance use.
- A Pioneer touchscreen Bluetooth audio unit is installed. It works and sounds good, but I think it could be better. It was in the truck when I purchased it. With this unit, it disabled the factory subwoofer (It"s present and works separately) and the steering wheel audio controls. This didn"t bother me to much as I love listing to the exhaust note, all the time.
The truck was initially lowered when I purchased it. That wasn"t my style and I have since put it back to the stock ride height.
The transmission pan gasket has some wetness around it. I did purchase a new Mopar pan gasket, filter and related items for servicing. It was on my to do list, just never got around to doing it. The ATF level is current full and appears clean and red in color.
The truck is in overall very good condition and clean inside and out for its age, but not perfect. Being a 15 year old daily driver type of truck, it does have some dings, scuff marks and light scratches here and there. The clear coat on the front bumper and the rear spoiler is coming off, just those areas only. I have a clean and clear AZ title in hand and in my name. Vehicle inspections are welcome by you or a 3rd party person. That way, there are no surprises and we"re all on the same page. I"m an honest and upfront person and described the vehicle to the best of my ability. Please ask any questions you may have and I"ll do my best to answer them. Additional pictures are available upon request as Im limited to 24 pictures in the listing. Thanks. .
The milage may go up a little as I do drive the truck locally and to the local cruise night car show, to park with the other Viper trucks and Mopar"s.
