Vehicle description
This Magnum 300C Touring AWD was purchased 2 yrs. ago as I had big plans of "molesting" her with my own personal flavor. It was a one owner car that ended up on the block at Mecum Auction and I in turn purchased if from that buyer. Soon after I received a poor medical report and have since been on the rebound and coming back BUT, the 300 took a back seat and is no longer a priority yet paying bills is. The motor runs SMOOTH, in fact smoother than my other two Magnum RT"s. I purchased an idler pully, which I installed, along with a new belt and ac compressor just before the diagnosis so never got around to installing the compressor. The rear hatch latch handle needs replaced as it does not electrically release the latch when pressed. I did open it up and tested it so for that reason I know the handle is needed ($35 on eBay). There is however a button on the lower left of the dash which releases the hatch as well, which works. The entire interior was built with the 300C trim. I"m envious of just how comfortable the seats are compared to my Magnum RT. Leather is in fabulous condition. The tires should probably be replaced and have approx. 5/32 tread but I was going to swap tires and rims so wasn"t worried about their condition AND it"s sitting on Eibach lowering springs. It was JUST painted prior to my purchase so there are maybe a couple scratches, no road rash at all on the front clip due to having just been painted with no real highway miles on it since. With a poor prep job for paint and the car sitting through several winters, you can see that on the left rear quarter panel some rust bubbling. During the past couple years I have regularly started and moved the car forward and back in the driveway. Supposedly the Touring was built right along side the 300C"s during assembly in Canada and were never to be imported into the US yet sent to Australia and the UK. The 300C clip was assembled in Austria. Supposedly too, the Chrysler badging and front clip was added because there were no Dodges in those countries yet they were familiar with Chrysler. RH or LH drives were options. I do not profess to say this car is a Euro built car. SOME HOW it ended up here in the US if it is truly a Chrysler 300C Touring estate. All body parts look oem and without a doubt the interior, along with electrical and gauges, are factory. I will assist if a scheduled transporter is needed.
