Vehicle description

2006 chrysler sebring base 2.4l Sedan - 4 Door 2429cc 148cu DOHC. Condition is Used. Title: Clean I want to emphasize that this sale will be a AS IS. I want to be truthful about what’s good and what’s not about this vehicle. I’ll start with the cons first and hopefully you’ll move on to the pros of this vehicle purchase. Cons: Paint is in poor condition with clear coat peeling off. I believe the vehicle is in need of a good tuneup by a dealership. The engine runs a little choppy at idle but still drives well on the road. It’s been like that for some time, but this has been a very reliable vehicle as far as getting from one point to another. If looks matter the most then this vehicle is not for you. A very reliable vehicle this actually is and oil changes and maintenance mechanical wise have been kept up which is why I didn’t bother fixing any power door locks and power windows.
Power windows on the back two doors are not working and need to be serviced. Power door locks do not work. Power windows on the front doors work, but only from the driver side switches. Pros: Good tires all around with two new Good Assurance tires on the front. I also will be throwing in two brand new Goodyear Assurance tires that have never been mounted along with purchase. The car runs good and the air conditioner works great. The engine could use a good tune-up by a dealer. The vehicle still runs good and is still very reliable as far as getting from point A to point B. The timing belt was just replaced about 10,000 miles ago. I just installed a brand new radiator and a new radiator fan assembly. I also just put a new alternator on it as well. It has a K&N air filter and I just installed new spark plugs & spark plug wires. I also just installed a new MSD ignition coil pack. All the brakes have been serviced and the lower ball joints have been replaced. Truthfully I believe the engine just needs a good tuneup at a dealer where they can fine-tune the PCM which I don’t have access to doing. As I said above I will be throwing in two brand new Goodyear Assurance tires. I will also be throwing in a new timing belt kit and a new water pump to go with the purchase. After all I won’t be needing these things anymore so that’s why I’m willing to throw these things all in with the purchase.
