Vehicle description
2006 Chevy Silverado 1500
Extended Crew-Cab
I am the original owner of this truck. I purchased it brand new. I decided to get all manual controls so I"d never have to worry about the electric motors wearing out or failing me in an emergency! There are rust spots to the body and under-body due to it having been through many winters. It drives great, and would be perfect for somebody wanting something tough and reliable, and isn"t concerned with body imperfections. It has the highly sought after Vortec 5300 HO Engine. It is a simple small-block design and was manufactured in three generations. This truck contains the III Generation V8 L33 Engine. The L33 is a modified version of the LM7 engine, and is considered to be the "garden variety" of GM"s third generation small block engines. It has an aluminum block and aluminum heads. It has a special cam shaft unique only to the L33 style. It is because of this special cam shaft and the architecture that utilized parts from different engine styles that power increased by 15 HP over the LM7 engine.
