I have a real nice little sports car with a V-8 and it goes 0 to 60 in just over 5 seconds. It"s amazing to drive around town when doing errands. You just tap on the gas and your at 45 mph. It saves a lot of time. It"s a 2006 Chevy Monte Carlo that is a special SS model. It also has a sun roof and leather seats. It"s the best vehicle that I"ve ever drove before and I also have a Hummer.
A guy was working on my vehicle and we had a problem and he basically stole the stereo from the vehicle. I filed a police report but I"m not getting it back. You can get the factory stereo for around $50 on Ebay and its actually a nice one.
The transmission and everything mechanical is real good. I actually just bought it for around $5,000 last October. I was expecting every used car to have a bad transmission since the last two that I bought did but it has turned out to be real good. The guy"s brother owned a shop and had everything fixed that was needed.
Part of the dashboard popped up a little and it needs to be glued and pressed down. There is a small panel above the glove box that has a tiny crack. It would be easy to switch out the panel with a new one. There is probably a lot of chevy cars that use the same one so you could probably find one for under $10 at a junk yard.
There is also two little actuators that need to be switched out otherwise they make a tapping noise if you adjust the a/c or heater. They look like sensors and just have a little bolt. They are kind of under the dashboard but since the stereo is missing they are easy to access. I can show you them. I had bought new ones but the guy stole them. It was under $40.
I have a disability so I don"t want to try and fix it myself and I would like to just sell it quicker and save money by removing it from my insurance policy. The blue book value would normally be almost $6,000. If you had audio express install a new stereo I think it would cost about $300 to fix everything.
In one photo the glove box might be hanging upside down. I was able to fix it.
