Vehicle description
This C6 Z06 was built/purchased in late 2005 and has only been owned by my family, but has had two different owners in the family. I acquired this Z06 from my Uncle in late 2008 with ~2450 miles. Current mileage is just under 10,200. Average mileage is about ~680/yr, but some years had less than that. The largest number of of miles were put on in 2019/2020. The car has always been garaged or in storage AND covered. Never been driven in the rain, which isn"t too hard to do in So. Calif. Never been on the track, just sensibly adult driven. When I first acquired the car, my intention was to never sell it, but as we all know, things change. I"ve taken care of the car like I was going to own it forever. You can take over where I"m leaving off knowing that the vehicle has been well taken care of. Paint/Appearance: Paint protection film 3M: $1915 (2008) Entire front-end is covered: Bumper, fenders, headlights and entire hood. Hood has been wrapped around the edge to hide film edge. Mid-way-up coverage on rear fenders. Lower door & rocker panel coverage. Front of side-mirrors. Windshield Protection - ClearPlex: $395 (2008) Window Tint: $435 (2008) Llumar Formula 1 tint w/lifetime transferable warranty. Vehicle Upgrades: FilterMag (oil filter magnet; $80 ). Brakes upgraded to Carbotech Bobcat 1521 w/single backing plate $500 F&R brake rotors replaced when pads changed (GM rotors). Custom-valved Bilstein Shocks (tuned by Johnny O"Connell) front and rear from DR Motorsports w/urethane mounts. $472 New GM rotors replaced OEM rotors when pads were changed ~3000 miles. MGW shifter (stock shifter boxed and will be provided). TWM performance weighted (heavy), adjustable shift knob (out-of-business) $50 (?) Engine oil drain plugs changed to magnetic plugs (GM). Mild2Wild exhaust cut-out remote control. $80 Battery tender permanent under-hood connector - $25 Upgraded NAV disc (2016 version) which is the latest available NAV disc will be included, along with the original. Routine Maintenance: Engine oil used on vehicle (after initial break-in) has been Redline 5w30 with K&N filter (w/FilterMag). Even with the low mileage the vehicle has had multiple oil changes. Clutch hydraulic fluid change (using the "Ranger" method). Cabin filter replaced with upgraded to hepa-style air filter (GM). Other Maintenance: T56 transmission fluid changed to Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF ~3000 miles. GPS/NAV/clock update installed so the clock is once again functional (common C6 issue) - Check other cars if your looking. Documentation: Complete set of Factory C6 service manuals. $450 - like new condition. Additional items: Halltech Killer Bee Air Filter & Beehive Shroud $620 - Not currently installed (SMOG). 4 "spare" oil filters; K&N, AC Delco, Mobil1 $50 Jacking pads, aluminum. $60 Complete LED lighting kit (not yet installed). $30 OEM/Original parts that will be INCLUDED with sale: Front & rear brake rotors with ~2500 miles.
