Vehicle description
In a nutshell -This is a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited Black on Black leather in excellent condition. It has an IAG Block with all the goodies bolted to it! VF52 Turbo making 327hp, 349tq on a mustang dyno. This car looks great and drives great, not only is it fast, but the Tien H-Tech springs make the lowered ride very very comfortable. Think of this car as a beefed up STI in a tuxedo. This car needs NOTHING, everything works. It"s turn key. Weather you want to drive it to California, or hit the track. This car is good to go. The Back Story Before I get into the extensive build and parts list for the car, let me give a little background. I have owned 2 WRX"s and 3 STI"s all varying years, a few years ago I set out to find and build a more comfortable high performance car. Something with heated leather seats, a nice sound system, and a less assuming style. I set my sites on a Legacy GT, everything I loved in my STI"s, tons of turbo power, do anything AWD, and of course that beautiful suby sound! My search began, and after almost a year of being patient, and working on a couple other builds to keep me occupied, I found this car. It was the one! Black on Black and a limited with the under seat sub that works! I was sold! It was a one owner car if you can believe that I pulled the carfax and was pleased by the confirmation along with zero accidents in its history. Garage kept too. Don"t believe me? Take a look at the wiper arms, and the back glass seal, I took close pics of these to highlight the amazing condition, something that would not be if the car had been parked outside regularly. OK! Back to the story! Where was I. ahh yes, 1 owner, clean carfax, blah blah blah, by this time you are thinking that this is just was too good to be true right? Well, your right. The car was running rough, and had a miss, which I already knew what it was, and if you are a subaru person, you are probably chuckling at this point. I knew that it was 99% ringland failure, but I was ok with it because I was planning on doing an IAG block build anyways. So really this worked in my favor. I was able to get the car for a lower price and I had always planned on replacing the block anyhow. I could not have been more pleased with the condition of the car as I drove it home to begin my long awaited project! My main objective with this build was reliable, civilized comfort. I wanted something that would blow the doors off a Mustang at a light, but would be comfortable to drive on a 400 mile road trip with my bikes. Oh ya, and it needs to look AWESOME! Civilized remember. . but AWESOME! Over the next 6 months I hand picked every part, and began the journey. It was one of the most fun builds I have done, and I have been enjoying it for the past year. Now it is time to move on to the next build though, and let another enjoy this labor of love that I have bestowed upon this earth! ;) Now, the the Carfax does say 2 owners unfortunately, so you will be the 3rd, I know bummer. If you where looking at the pics and wondering why the paint is so dang nice, well it"s because the front bumper hood, and fenders have all been repainted. The car was backed into and I had the body shop paint all the touching panels. Best $500 deductable I ever spent! The first month I had the car finished I drove it to work one day randomly, I have a company car you see. Guess what mother nature decided to do. ? If you guessed hail, you need to go buy a lotto ticket, because you have ESPN or something
