Besides a more powerful engine, the Carrera S also comes standard with more powerful and larger brakes (with red calipers), lowered suspension with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management: dynamically adjustable dampers), Xenon headlamps, and a sports steering wheel. 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe with 58,608 actual miles. I am selling this car for a friend. Garaged and was well taken car of. The car runs and drives well. Cold A/C works great. Has clear bra over the complete front end of the car (cost $1,200). The car comes with the original books and manuals and two sets of keys. Below is a description from the seller: I bought this 911S in Mississippi in 2017 with 53K miles. The gentlemen I bought it from kept it in his garage WITH the car cover on it. It was his baby. His back had failed him and forced the sale. He maintained it at the local Porsche dealer, and I spoke to the dealer, and they confirmed everything he told me, which was all good. The car was driven back to Houston and lived as my 4th car (and my first Porsche). During my ownership I was near College Station (Texas), and I was involved in a minor accident (see Carfax) where I hit a shallow depression where the front bumper hit the ground. That did damage to the bumper and oil cooler and triggered the sensor, which set off the airbags (despite no front-end impact). The car was repaired to 100% factory standards with 100% OEM parts at Momentum Porsche in Houston. The car has been driven approximately 3,000 miles since then with no issues. It has a clear bra that covers the entire front of the car and mirrors. The battery is less than 2 years old. There are no leaks noticed under the car. It starts immediately and runs smoothly. Smooth and beautiful power delivery from the 355 HP Carrera S motor. $88,000 MSRP in 2005 optioned with a Bose sound system, upgraded leather seats, the Alcantara roof (but no navigation). Of course, the car has been garage kept. It comes with a Porsche car cover. The only known flaws are some plastic bits that have failed with age (typical of these cars). Those are the cover to the vanity mirror on the driver"s side sunshade and the small pull switch that opens the front hood. I have the OEM part to replace the hood release (see pics) and just haven"t made time to get it done. I have not addressed the vanity light cover. The tires have less than 1000 miles on them. Recent maintenance includes oil and brake fluid changes. I have enjoyed the car, but simply just do not use it enough to justify owning it. Therefore, I am making space in my garage and selling my toy. PPIs are encouraged. And I am happy to take it to any Porsche dealer for inspection at the cost of the potential buyer (if the sale is completed, I will reduce the sale price by half of the inspection cost).
