[email protected] 805-558-4850. 2005 MINI Cooper S offered for sale by the original purchaser and builder. Car is currently owned by the second owner who purchased it in 2014 from original owner with a clean California title. Currently unregistered. Ordered thru and purchased from Towne MINI in Buffalo New York in June of 2005. No one but original purchaser has touched this vehicle for any of the mechanical updates and servicing-it has lived mainly indoors and under cover. Body and paint are an 8 of 10 and interior is a 9 of 10. Current mileage is 130,420 and will not go up unless a test drive is done. Car is currently indoors and covered. This MINI has ALWAYS lived in the dry SOCal climate, no rust or weather beaten issues. The body is the original Chili Red with a JCW Aerokit front bumper and side skirts, all custom painted with black striping and inserts and silver pinstripes. ALL stripes and custom paintwork has clear coat over it done in a professional body and paint facility. A new set of door handles were painted chili red when car was new but paint is now chipped and worn, original chrome handles included. Interior is Cordoba Beige Soft Leather in tan and black, has factory navigation, a custom auto meter boost gauge and a Garmin GPS that is more easily updated than the factory unit. Boost gauge and Garmin are mounted to tach/speedo housing with Craven speed custom mounts. Center stack has JCW Leather wrapped downtubes with red stitching-once a parts accessory, not available for years now! Custom floor mats in front feature special checkered pattern from Loyyds. Shifter is a Craven Speed adjustable unit with a custom #3 red pool ball and shift and E Brake boots are matching red line good pure leather bits. Glove box and center stack have custom divider shelfs (no longer available) A red Schroth 3 point harness that buckles into the factory seat belt mounting points for autocross days is included as well. All factory manuals and two copies of the original window sticker are present and included. This MINI also has the factory Dual Pane sunroof, working properly as designed. This MINI has the factory Harmon-Kardon sound system with a single disc player in the dash as well as the 6 disc changer in the boot and an aux port in glove box. The underhood of this MINI S features the complete M7 heat management package (no longer offered by M7) including Aero Gel heat blankets between engine and (M7) Direct Flow Intercooler as well as the Aero Gel blanket above exhaust manifold helping to keep underhood temps down. The open area between the front bumper and a/c condenser also has the M7 carbon fiber air diverter to help keep heat rise to a minimum in front of the Intercooler. The M7 Direct Flow Intercooler is a vertical aftercooler that utilizes a special hood scoop designed to route air directly through the cooler, unlike the factory system which used a plastic baffle to make the incoming air turn 90 degrees from the horizontal scoop entrance through the top mounted factory cooler. The M7 DFIC design, along with the heat blankets and carbon filler on bumper is intended to help with heat soak recovery and overall better cooling of the air charge. There is a 15% reduction pulley on the supercharger with a new JCW serpentine belt. Engine was custom tuned by Jan Bruggerman of RMW and made 209 whp on a 95 degree day at churchs dyno testing in San Pedro California.Cold Air Intake, as designed by Randy Webb (Webb Motorsports) and manufactured by DDM Engineering and with a brand new oiled oval filter can be seen in photos as well as a Samco intake hose is red. The CAI and M7 DFIC are painted red to match body color, done in a professional booth with high temperature paint, NOT rattle can. The exhaust manifold and cats as well as Oxygen sensors are new installed by MINI of Camarillo. Cat back exhaust by Miltek (quiet version)Engine is 100% stock internally, head has never been removed, all internal parts are original to this car. Vehicle was just serviced with a new air filter, cabin filter and fresh oil change with Liqui Moly oil as well as a new water pump and coolant and reservoir, just replaced at Motoring Magic.Engine runs very strong, has had impeccable maintenance by owner from new, starts/runs as designed. Suspension is an M7coilover set (no longer available) rebound and compression as well as ride height adjustable with Ireland Engineering fixed camber plates in front and Hotchkiss 22mm rear sway bar and camber links (4) in rear. Lower front control arm bushings and sway bar bushings by powerflex (polyurethane) Current suspension was installed at approximately 114,000 miles. There is a JCW upper strut brace on front shock towers and the weak aluminum ends that frequently break have been replaced with custom machined steel ends. Front brakes are from an 07 & later MINI Cooper S (R56) with larger calipers and rotors, recent pad replacement and Zimmerman drilled rotors. Wheels are Neuspeed/NM Engineering 5 spoke RSe05 5 spoke 17x7.5 in satin black with factory JCW center caps, wrapped with Hankook Ventus V2 215/45/17 tires. Tires only have approx. 10000 miles on them. There is a hidden hitch behind rear bumper from Mini-Do-More that is accessed through the plastic bumper center plug. This can be used to mount a bicycle rack or carrying rack. Hitch receiver is included as well.Both outside mirrors have convex glass with the turn signal indicator built inPurchase includes original intercooler, airbox, door handles, framed window sticker and a factory indoor coverThis MINI can be inspected and test driven in Thousand Oaks, Ca at Motoring Magic. Car is NOT stored there, an appointment is necessary. This vehicle can NOT be registered in California! NONE of the underhood parts from M7 carry a carb EO number nor does the CAI from DDM.
