A Rare must have Mercedes turbo diesel with the well proven Inline 6 OM648. These vehicles have been known to aquire astronomical mileage numbers, and there are many in the 550000 mileage range. Reliable and proven powertrain.The Mercedes E320 cdi runs amazingly well ,Engine is excellent and runs with incredible urgency. It does not use any oil through its 7500 miles oil change intervals. The Mercedes delivers incredible fuel mileage, 42 mpg hwy 32 city. You may drive over 700 miles in luxury and comfort on one tank.The engine recently recieved new fuel, air filter, coolant,water pump, thermostat ,all accessory pullys and drive belt. The injectors were resealed last year.The turbo was replaced three years ago 231000 miles and included all turbo hoses and gaskets.The transmission shifts well and has been maintained with several services throughout my ownership. I have performed recently a fluid and filter replacement. The shifter bushings were also replaced and the shift selector is smooth and tight. Differential service was done approximately 30000 miles ago. The Mercedes shifts are smooth and tight.The suspension runs down the road tight with no sqeaks rattles or rolls. Has new rear Bilstein shocks and the front end has been completely overhauled including bearings ball joints upper and lower control arms and more. Drives down the road straight as an arrow with the Michelin all season tires.The brakes are perect. All four discs rotors and pads were done recentlyThe headlamps are crystal clear and have upgraded Led Hi and low beams and visibility at night is flawless.The interior has minmal wear the headliner and front seats were recently reupholstered. The turn signal switch was replaced due to a sloppy switch. The radio and cd changer sound amazing. All windows and sunroof operate great. The fron windshield was recently replaced including the aging cown with a Mercedes factory replacement. Air conditioning and heat operate perfectly. The blower motor was replaced a couple of years ago with a oem Behr unit. Still has the aroma af a new Mercedes. Its a pleasant place to be while devouring the highway. Smooth silent and vaultlike describe the feeling on the open road.The paint shines incredibly nice with some small imperfections here and there.All windows have a 15 percent tint and a 5 percent tint on the winshield for glare and interior protection.We have loved this Mercedes and always were prompt on the maintainance. Most of the maintainance was done by me. This is a vehicle that lets you maintain it, and is the last of the do it yourself Mercedes, the last of the solid and bulletproof inline sixes. Without all the emissions components on the newer ones. This vehicle Does NOT USE AD BLUE AND DOES MOT HAVE A DPF. It was manufactured before the stringent emissions.We have taken this vehicle on many roadtrips and it loves the open road.
