Purchased new, One owner, Mazda tribute 2005, Is in good/fair shape. Clear title.
This vehicle is a good option for a student or the guy/gal who just needs a basic, unpretentious vehicle for transportation.
Does not have a current registration sticker. It failed recently the emissions test, dash board does not show any check engine light, nor it shows an specific problem. The only recommendation from the testing place is to run the vehicle for at least 60 miles on expressway and re-test it again. The only hint from the scanner at the testing place is that the engine is not ready for testing, but won"t identify the issue or problem.
Having said the above paragraph the car Runs well, air conditioned works, all systems work as far as is known (see list of known issues). Tires are in great shape with sport rims. Upholstery is in great shape.
Great value, you won"t find a car in this decent shape, at this price. I simple don"t need it, I am relocating.
KNOWN ISSUES: Please see close ups of pics.
It has a bump (driver side) rear plastic fender.
Dash board plastic cover by wheel column is cracked from sun/heat exposure.
Front Fog lights are both broken.
Sunroof shows small pitted/rusted spots. Sunroof is operational but fuse was removed to prevent leaving it unintended/inadvertently open.
Heating does not work, but who needs heating in Austin?
Radio/CD works but has been disconnected (fuse removed) it wouldn"t turn off and after a couple of times it drained the battery the fuse was removed and the problem was solved.
