“This has been the best car I have ever owned, hands down. Meticulously maintained over the years by the Lexus dealer, this ES is in superb condition. I have all service records and all maintenance is current and up to date. Newer brakes, newer Continental tires, new alternator, new battery, new front struts, new catalytic converter, new exhaust pipes, detailed by Lexus dealer on 5.1.2019 - waxed, buffed, carpets shampooed, brand new floor mats, Xenon headlights restored - this car is 100 percent ready. Car is 14 years old and has minor imperfections in the paint such as stone chips, scratches, etc. Interior is nearly perfect. I personally used this car to commute each day but recently purchased a Lexus hybrid to save on fuel costs....otherwise I'd keep this car forever.” |

Vehicle description
Up for auction is my 2005 Lexus ES 330 sedan. This is without a doubt the most reliable car I have ever owned. I am the second owner and purchased this as a CPO vehicle at our local Lexus dealer in 2011. The original owner was a friend of ours who adored the car and convinced us to purchase it after they traded it in on a new ES. I have been happy ever since, but due to my long commute I"ve made the switch to a Lexus hybrid and need to let the ES go to a new home as I also own a newer RX350 as well. This ES comes in the beautiful blue onyx metallic with cashmere (tan) leather interior. The ES is fully loaded and comes with virtually every option available! It has, to name only a few: 17" All Season Continental Tires (they all match) Heated and Ventilated Front Seats High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Headlamps with Rain Sensing Wipers Power Rear Sun Shade Navigation System and Mark Levinson Audio Package Includes Voice-Activated Navigation System with Mark Levinson Audio with Single In-Dash CD Player and 6-Disc CD Changer in Center Console Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control and Brake Assist Wood & Leather Steering Wheel & Shift Knob Preferred Accessory Package: Trunk Mat, Cargo Net, and Wheel Locks Keyless entry Full-size spare tire with matching full-size alloy rim Vehicle dash cam (aftermarket installed) The car also comes with two sets of Lexus floor mats - a freshly shampooed set and a set of BRAND NEW mats. I"ll also throw in the new Weathertech custom all-weather trunk mat! And, the spare tire - it"s not a cheap temporary donut. .the spare is a full-size tire on a full-size matching alloy rim This car has been babied its entire life - I have all service records on the vehicle since it was new. 99 percent of all maintenance has been performed at the Lexus dealer. Within the past year, I have invested over $3,000 in maintenance and repairs including: New alternator New battery New drive belt Catalytic converter and exhaust system Front struts and complete wheel alignment Front brakes (pads and rotors) Tires HID headlights restored I just spent $300 on May 1, 2019 to have the car completely detailed (which I"ve done every spring for the past 8 years) by the Lexus dealer. They buffed and waxed the exterior, shampooed the carpets and mats, cleaned the air vents, seats, dash, trim. .and so much more. The car looks new! And, of course, I have all the records and receipts to show the work was performed. Issues - in the spirit of full transparency there are two things that need to be done at some point. These are not urgent by any means but you should be aware of them. The head gasket is leaking slightly and will need to be replaced at some point. The rear brake pads will need to be replaced as well in the near future. There are also some chips in the paint on the hood and front bumper and a few small dents here and there (the size of a dime or so). The paint on the housing of each side mirror has flaked off a bit but the housing is plastic so it will not rust. The CarFax report is clean but does show three accidents - all of which were minor incidents involving other cars scraping the rear bumper. The last incident occurred in October 2018 and was the result of an elderly woman bumping into the back of the car as we were stopped at a traffic light. There was no damage The timing belt was replaced @ 114,915 miles, together with the water pump and all associated seals, etc. The timing belt will need to be replaced @ 214,915 miles - so you have roughly 22,000 miles until this service needs to be performed. Cost to do this is roughly $800 at the Lexus Dealer. The recent repairs (as noted above) may still be covered under the 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty Lexus provides but the car is being sold AS-IS without any warranty expressed or implied . While I believe the car to be in excellent condition, the buyer takes full and total responsibility for any repairs the car may require after the sale. It is for this reason that it is important for anyone buying a used car - including this vehicle - to research the car thoroughly. The car is available for viewing anytime so please let me know if you are interested and would like to take a test drive. All sales are final. I only accept cash or PayPal. Buyer must pick vehicle up in central New Jersey, near Princeton. I cannot ship the vehicle though I will gladly work with any buyer who wants to arrange shipping on their own.
