New water pump
New radiator
New thermostat
New A/C evaporator
New heater core
New steering stabilizer
New muffler
New rear brake slave cylinders, pads and hardware
Recent front brake pads, calipers and rotors
Tires ~2 years old, with 80% or more tread remaining
Aftermarket bolt-on steering box shield
Frame, floorboards and underside have very little surface rust - no rot! Check out the pics!
Passed MA inspection in April, no issues
What does it need? Nothing functional! :) One rust spot has appeared under the passenger door that should be addressed
Prior to my purchase, the back right tail light had been pushed in, and there is a dent in the rear bumper (see pics)
There is some oil seepage from back of valve cover - normal for this model
Super reliable, GREAT jeep for the money. I"ve seen comparable listings that need lots of work for much more than this is listed. Oil changes done regularly, proactively maintained.
If you want a fun toy, a base for your next project, or love having a small vehicle to make parking easier, while being ready for some off-road fun, then come check it out!
The Jeep is still registered, so you can take it for a test ride if you are local. Clear title in hand, no issues to worry about. If you buy it, it can sit here until you get it registered, etc - I"m not in a hurry for it to leave, and I have plenty of room for it. Buyer responsible for any shipping or transportation, though happy to support the process - can possibly deliver within reasonable distance.
I"m selling since I now drive into the city a lot more for work, and decided to buy something a little more commuter/traffic friendly. I hate to see it go, but the time has come. .
