For sale is a 2005 Jeep Wrangler LJ Unlimited with a 95% full rebuild with 5000 trouble free miles.
Ownership History: The First owner was a Bicycle shop owner in Richmond Va. The Jeep was all stock when he sold it with around 33000 miles. The Second owner was a married woman with Three girls. She drove the girls around and put tons on highway miles on the Jeep. She had a Four inch lift and 33 Inch tires installed when she got the Jeep. Her Family had a lot on the North Anna River and would go camping almost every weekend. This was all the Four Wheeling the Jeep ever did and was basically a highway rider and never torn up. She sold the Jeep with 175000 miles. I am the third owner, adult Male with Two kids in College. The Jeep now has 205711 miles and has plenty of life left in it. My son has a 2003 Rubicon with 365000 miles having done nothing but oil changes an tune ups.
I have had 11 Jeeps prior to this one and I spent 9 Months looking for a Jeep like this that was this clean. An LJ that was never torn up or heavily modified.
The Jeep has a free and clear Maryland Title with no issues and is ready to transfer. Just passed Md. emissions inspection.
The pictures are current and they show the extent of my offroad use for this Jeep. I have NEVER used this off road and it has never been driven in the rain or snow since I have owner it.
FRAME INFO: Stock frame and arrow straight, rock solid inside and out. The following parts were professionally installed by a local off road shop. 6 Inch Rough Country long arm lift kit. Complete kit includes shocks and springs and removable sway bar links. New heavy duty Cherokee Sway bar. New Teraflex SYE kit. New Adams rear drive shaft. New 1310 CV front drive shaft. ALL New Spicer u joints. New Fox 2.0 steering stabilizer. New Poison Spyder diff. covers. All new fluids. New steering box rock cover, New front and rear bumpers. Both Factory rears completely rebuilt with 4.56 Gears and new bearings in and out. New Power stop drilled and slotted rotors and pads on all Four corners with stainless lines and new fluid.
ENGINE: 6 Cylinder 4.0 Liter. Runs fantastic and has tons of power. No noises or rattles from it at all. Oil and filter changed ever 2500 Miles. The following parts are all NEW for the engine: Plugs, Coil pack bar, EGHR valve. EGR hoses, Canister filter assembly, Valve cover gasket, Exhaust gaskets, AC inspection and charge, Banks Powerpack system with computer tuner, this is the full Banks system with the Stainless Header pipes and muffler, Magnaflow high flow cats, 02 sensors, Cold air intake. I would have no problem driving this Jeep anywhere.
COOLING SYSTEM: Radiator, upper and lower hoses, Belts, Tensioner, Water pump and gasket, Thermostat, Thermostat housing, Temp sensor and harness plug, both Heater hoses and Heater core as well as the AC evaporator.
ELECTRONICS: These parts are all new: Optima battery, PIAA HID RS600 6 inch round bar lamps, Rugged Ridge round windshield lamps and brackets, BI XENON headlights, Third brake light on tire carrier, Round taillight kit, S POD for light control mounted above rear view mirror, HID lights in front bumper, new turn signal switch in column.
BODY: All factory original, never wrecked totally rust free in, out, over and under. Factory Impact Orange paint except on the tailgate. The tailgate was repainted to fill the original spare tire carrier holes. New Bushwacker pocket Flares, Tailgate air vent, Transmission floor cover and gasket, Full Factory hard doors with mirrors and spot mirrors, Body Armor trail doors with Factory mirrors, Factory hard top with new paint inside and tinted glass, Two factory soft tops, Smittybuilt windshield header and full bikini top, Tonneau cover, Mcgard hard door locks, new wiper motor cover. Along with the hard top I purchased the Factory kit to install the harness and parts to make the rear wiper and washer work, this has not been installed yet. This Jeep did not come with the hard top when ordered. The fresh air vent in the front of the windshield has been resealed to prevent interior leaks. New Genright swing out tire carrier powder coated black and installed with extra plates inside the tub for adde d support. New rear bumper and new front bumper with lights and a TS 9500lb Superwinch. The winch had never been used. Wired and tested but never unwound. New windshield and wipers. The entire inside of the rust free tub has been Rhino lined. The step bars were on the Jeep when I got it and have some small surface rust on them. I installed a Factory set of Ford Harley Davidson emblems on the sides of the Tub. These can be easily removes with fishing line and wax and grease remover. If you do not want then I will remove them prior to pickup.
INTERIOR UPGRADES: Both front seats were rebuilt with new foam pads and 3 level seat heaters installed. New Bartact front seat covers, the Factory seats were dirty and not ripped at all. Smitty built rear seat cover, rear seat not ripped either. 1 inch seat spacers front and rear, New Rock Hard roll bar support cage, rear overhead angle bars, rear upper cross bar, dash bar with holder bracket, front pillar bars with grab handles. the entire Factory and Rockhard bars were powder coated in Impact Orange. A second set of factory speaker pods was purchased and installed in the front of the roll cage to move the front dash speaker to overhead. Sony Sirius XM ready radio, MEX-XBBT and Four Morel speakers in the overheads. Two Fosgate amps under the rear seat and a subwoofer box behind the rear seat. A new Factory rear view mirror with temp and compass, new temp sensor and new mirror wire harness was installed. Six shooter revolver shifter handle. Fast detach wing nuts for the hard top.
WHEELS AND TIRES: 5 new matching BFG All Terrains 35x12.5x15. 5 matching Mickey Thompson Classic lock wheels with new stainless long stem lug nuts. Tires rotated every 2500 miles and still have tons of tread left.
About Six Months ago the Heater core and AC Evaporator were replaced due to a core drip. The Transmission was also replaced with one with 76000 miles. The Factory one was having a reverse issue. Along with the Transmission I also installed a NEW clutch, pressure plat, disc, flywheel, pilot bearing, complete slave cylinder assembly. Transmission now works fine and has no more issues.
Any and all parts removed from the Jeep for the upgrades will be included in the sale. Some smaller things may have been forgotten.
NOW FOR THE BAD; The wheel center caps have some surface rust. The Factory hard door handles have some small surface rust on them and they rattle a little. The Factory hard door seals do not leak but have small tears on them. The dome light are currently not working because the wires are not connected to enjoy the doors being removed. The rear of the tub had some paint scuffing from the soft top. Windshield bracket bolts have some surface rust. The pictures are current and show the wear from the last 5000 miles. I could have painted all this to make it look newer but I wanted you to see what you are buying but not hiding anything.
