For Sale by Owner: 2005 Infiniti g35x.
Car runs and starts, was a reliable daily driver in its current condition and never gave me any scares or worries that it wouldn"t start or would leave me stranded anywhere. Title is clean, no mods whatsoever, never been raced or tracked. However the starting bid is listed at what a wreck might be because of two issues:
There is noise coming from the engine that I do not have the experience or motivation to repair or have repaired which is probably related to the oil consumption I have experienced toward the end of my ownership of this vehicle. When the oil is running low or the car hasn"t been started the power steering becomes very heavy but this issue doesn"t persist once the car is warmed up. As such even though this is a reliable driver it would be dishonest to sell it as though it did not need work.
Car was recently hit twice while parked. Damage is documented in photos, deep dent in driver"s door which prevents the handle from working from outside of the vehicle, but can be opened normally from inside, and damage to the front bumper which also cracked the grille cover and misaligned the hood. I am an amateur but I do not believe the hood is deformed I think the latches were pushed out of place.
All things considered if I had the means I would love to keep this car. Aside from the issues I named everything in the car works, A/C runs cold, both keys work, Bose Stereo sounds great, seats are soft and in great condition especially for an "05, no structural damage, but I do not have service records for the vehicle. I won"t tout the g35s reputation because anybody still interested is here because they know. If you know a good mechanic or know your way around g35s this could be a steal. The possibilities are endless when it comes to g35s and it"s worth the starting bid in parts alone if you were to resell them on eBay.
