2005 Hummer H2 – Rust free southern vehicle in amazing condition You’re looking at a Desert Sand 2005 Hummer H2 built late in the year (has the factory tire carrier and lower taillights). It has had only 2 previous owners, both in Georgia; I bought it in Oct 2019 and have kept it in a humidity-controlled garage – it has never seen salt/snow. The 2nd owner put a lot of miles on it in a short amount of time, but it has obviously been well maintained. Carfax is clean, no accidents or large repairs. It has some small paint chips on the front end from highway miles, I had the windshield replaced when I bought it. It has been tuned up with new plugs/wires, oil/filter, thermostat, hoses, belts, battery, etc. I have not serviced the transmission/axles/transfer case. I’ve fixed the usual H2 issues including gauge cluster professionally rebuilt with lifetime warranty, several dash and console panels replaced with NOS, new shifter and cable, new transfer case control motor, new window regulator. I also added a new Pioneer head unit installed with proper crossover box (all steering wheel controls and dimmer works) with DVD player (unlocked to play while driving), Apple/Android Carplay, Pandora, hands-free, rear camera capable, remote control and has video out cable under driver’s seat to add headrest monitors. The rest of the stereo system is the factory Bose with amp/subwoofer and all factory speakers sound perfect. Also replaced all the clearance lamp gaskets and seals so it’s all watertight. This H2 is also equipped with the 3rd row seat and it’s in perfect condition, appears to have never even been used. As seen in the picture, I am including all the factory components I have removed from the vehicle including the chrome wheels (4 are perfect, 1 has a little chrome peeling on backside), center caps, lug nuts, chrome grille, luggage rack cross bars, sunroof deflector, factory radio, and box/instructions from the new Pioneer head unit. Also comes with 2 key fobs but only 1 key. I had the side lower rocker guards off but reinstalled them to sell it, took a few pictures before reinstalling though. A/C is ice cold, heat works great, heated seats work, power mirrors work, in fact I believe everything works. It has great oil pressure (~40+ psi @ 1500 at temp with 5W30 and no additives), hovers around 25-30 at low idle. 4X4, low range, and rear locker all work, transmission goes into gear and shifts perfectly. Runs perfectly, no smoke, doesn’t burn oil or coolant, idles great, everything works as it should (no check engine light, no fault codes). Occasionally I see a single drop of oil on the garage floor but it’s so slow I can’t tell where it’s from and not enough to have to ever add oil so I haven’t spent a lot of time tracing it. It drives down the road very smoothly, it is aligned and tracks straight, no signs of any vibrations or noises, it’s a pleasure to drive and can be driven anywhere as is, it needs nothing mechanically. It also has a sunroof and it operates as it should. The wheels are Black Rhino Armory Gun Black wheels and tires are BFG All Terrain KO2 of factory size and have less than 500 miles on them (will provide receipts for everything). This was a hobby car for me, so I rarely drive it, mostly just a trip to DQ with the family here and there. The underside of the vehicle and the engine compartment are all exceptionally clean. Please take some time to blow up the pictures and study them, this vehicle still has all the factory paint assembly marks all over it from when it was assembled (suspension, frame, engine components, you name it) and even the paper tags/stickers on various components. I have seen no evidence that any repairs have ever happened as far as transmission removed or any large engine repairs, it is completely “unmolested” all factory wiring, no alarm system add-ons, no broken clips or spliced wiring anywhere. Nothing has been repainted on this so nothing is covered up, this is all factory paint underneath and everywhere. The vehicle was definitely never off-roaded but there is dust/dirt from normal use, again see pics I’ve tried to capture everything. The bad: Mileage is high although clearly highway miles and well maintained, there are a few small spots on the roof near the front clearance lights where some paint has peeled off, the DRL lights are faded from weather, although they work I have the bulbs out of them, headlights work fine but showing some roughness from highway driving and sun, the driver’s side tail light has a small hairline crack in it, the seats show some cracking due to age and there is about a 1-2” separation of the seam on the driver’s seat (see pics), there are a couple small stains in rear carpet under the 3rd row seat but it is otherwise good and like new. I’ve tried to include everything I know here, feel free to ask questions but I’ve tried to leave nothing unspoken to avoid any confusion in what you’re getting. Have a clear Indiana title with proper mileage.
