2005 Honda Civic Hybrid manual 5speed transmission with 90xxx miles
This civic is equiped with Blue ox towing system. to be towed four down(all wheels on ground)behind a rv or vehicles with hitch. one of the rare hybrid car that can be towed four down, since it has manual transmission.
- Blue ox base plate installed inside front of the car. - Blue ox adjustable aluminum tow bar. - all the accessories locking pins with keys, tow bar cover, breakaway safety cables. - Roadmaster even brake system installed with the unit. the unit is not working. bad circuit board. I dont use it because civic is less than 2800lbs and my Monaco diesel pusher weighs 310000lbs, has plenty of braking power. *Not included is magnetic turn signal lights. it only costs $25 for new led lights.
-Hybrid battery is brand new, not refurbished.installed 10/2019 which i purchased from Kingkong electronics thru Alibaba in China. I have 2001 honda insight, which i purchased the batteries from them about 6years ago. it still runs great. no Ima battery issue. Im not a fan of chinese products but these batteries from Kingkong electronics has proven to me. so im a repeat customer. so i purchased again from them. there are some hybrid battery businesses here, seems like the claimed new batteries last 3years. i also posted the picture of email from the kingkong electronic. and the new battery pictures. The new batteries have discharge rate of 25c instead of 10c. the new batteries have 3year warranty. but it will last way longer, like my 2001 insight.
I have been and currently using the civic for Uber and Lyft for extra income. been driving doing this off and on for about 2.5 years. it gets 43mpg uber and lyft driving. and gets 45mpg on regular driving not uber lyft driving. Its great for making extra income. but its only good to use in southern california until end of 2020. due to 15year rule.
I had the civic for about 6 or 7years with 39k miles when i first got it. The civic hybrid runs perfect. engine is extremely smooth and transmission shifts perfect. it still feels like brand new car. No oil comsumption or any kinds of leaks. these civic hybrids use 0w20 oil which is only synthetic oil. they dont have 0w20 regular oil. so its been using synthetic oil all its life.
Front tires are less than 10month old but the rear tires have about 40% thread left Front brakes are less than 1year old and the rear brakes have 90% pads left. exterior has some rock chips and some scratches here and there. clean title on hand, Ca tags expire Aug 2020 Feel free to ask me any questions.
