Vehicle description
Clean, AC Cold, reliable vehicle with low mileage : Commuter Ready : Asking $4450 Or Best Offer - Make an Offer !
Model Trim Unclear (TBD By Buyer): Car Fax says it is an LX (I"d say its wrong because LX have leather seats), Seller told me it was an EX (made sense to me), Honda Parts Now website identified the trim as SE (I believe this is correct because of the Mags and the rear Spoiler). The Vin Number is provided: The Buyer is responsible to clarify the Trim
Moving to Mainland for end of the month!, Price just lowered again. all reasonable offers will be considered.
(if not sold by end of the month, the vehicle will be sold by a tier at a much higher price - So this is a one time deal)
Peace of Mind!. Next inspection is due in August of 2020, and the registration are valid till June 30 of 2020. Tires have a good amount of threads left and more than enough to make it safely to the next inspection.
Only 80 000 Original Mileage. No Rust! Under-body almost looks new! It is provided with original Honda Accord Car Cover (in Honda bag)
I am selling (against my will) my newly acquired and appreciated Honda Accord Coupe 2005 because I am poised to return to the main land very soon. The 4 cylinder 2.4 L is economical, strong, but mostly (and contrary to the 6 cylinder engine) does not use a timing belt that must be changed at specific intervals to avoid catastrophic failure!. This is because the 2.4L engine uses a timing chain that is internal to the engine and that is meant to last the engine"s life (Peace of Mind).
The vehicle does not leak or consumes oil and/or other fluids. After close to 2K miles made since its purchase(more than a month of commuting from Waialua to Pearl City and of riding the island), my sweet ride did not consumed a drop (or let"s say any noticeable amount) of engine oil. Thus living to its low mileage attributes.
I am attaching a copy of the CarFax Report that confirms its good value, its low mileage and that it is genuinely clean with no issues reported. We can basically say that I am the 2nd private Owner considering that the documented 2nd owner was a dealership who sold the vehicle (as part of a lot of vehicles) to another dealer from which I purchased it last august. Also the attached maintenance log for the first owner shown in the pictures 21 and 23 speaks for itself.
What I did since:
Radio:
While the Honda Accord models have set the Standard for reliability, the 2003~2007 models have encountered a lot of problems with their factory Radio. (that also incorporated the Climate Controls). Knowing this and being aware of the after market solutions that have been engineered to specifically resolve the problems, the first thing I did after purchasing the vehicle was to acquire/install the Android replacement unit that uses a 10 inch touch screen to support all the goodies that can be found on the latest models (Hand free Cell phone via Blue Tooth, GPS Map and Navigation, Smart Radio, USB stored Music, Cell Phone sync, graphical display of Sound control for Equalizing and balancing to speakers zones, Google search, and capable of many more apps and options! To make it sweeter I have also replace the original speakers with qty 4 matching kenwood Road Series Speakers (qty 2 6-1/2" in the doors + qty 2 6"x 9" in the back). Result is a sweet and normal car sound system (not a Boom box).
Headlight:
Renewed the headlight lens to sparkling clear by the application of the Sylvania renew kit and the new UV compound.
Brake Job (Just less than a week ago):
New front Rotors
New rear drums
New front pads with new hardware kits
New Rear Pads with new Drum Hardware Kits (all new springs, etc.)
(will provide old and still good rotors & drums - For re-machining ahead of your next brake job)
Issue:
I was told that because of its limited use (perhaps a military owner that got deployed?), that the paint over the hood and top had partially faded out, and that it got a paint job afterwards. It"s not a perfect job but it is clean and as portrayed in the 2 week old pictures it is still a great looking car. The interior is a quite well preserved overall with no cracks on Dash / Console and no tears. Controls on Armrest will require adjustment / re-positioning.
Make me an offer.
Thank you!
