Older Ford Ranger with the heart of a newer Ford Ranger.
Runs and drives great, clean interior, well maintained.
I bought it new in 2005 and maintained it well. Loved it so much, that when the engine failed just past 100K I got it replaced with a new crate engine. Only about 100K on this new engine.
Heavy duty 6-ply new-ish tires.
Windshield super clear, about 2 years old.
Fully detailed.
No accidents, no mechanical issues. Some fairly minor bumps with tools and such. Driver side door creased by a rolling toolbox, back left bumper dented in a little, from backing up to a tree.
Ripped upholstery on driver seat, needs seat covers.
Inside area of bed has shallow dents and a little rusty in spots, could use a liner.
Needs headlight switch replaced, est $270 repair for that.
Was used as a daily driver / house projects, some camping, nothing heavy generally, though I did haul a few trailers once in a while. It does have a great aftermarket tow package. Hitch needs a pin. And the tailgate needs a new handle.
I got a smaller car with better gas mileage. Since then this one has only been used for taking trash cans up our way-too-long driveway.
Moving soon, only have room for one car on the Uhaul car carrier so it’s gotta go.
