It now has 191,145 miles. I have owned 3 Neons, and keep them running by changing the oil every 3,000 miles. The heat and AC are great on this car! The check engine light is on. The rear breaks were replaced in September 2019. At one point or another virtually everything else was replaced too — battery, alternator, starter, belts. The radiator and transmission are original. This car does not have anti-lock brakes. There is major exterior rust, the driver's seat has a chunk out of it, the dash vent plastic mesh is cracked off, and there is a gash in the driver's side rear bumper from a back-up accident with a van. Oh yes, there have been a couple of minor accidents, no major frame damage, as this car has been a "big city car" for almost 16 years. But as a small car, it is easy to park in tight spots! Who the heck would buy this car now? ? Well, maybe you would if you just need a car that starts and will get you to work or school. Maybe for a minor investment you have a car you can use to deliver pizzas. Maybe you are on financial peace baby step one or two and don't need a car payment - you just need a car and do not care what it looks like. Just think, no car loan! Our family of four made this car work including packing it to the gills to get two students back and forth to college, camping trips, and Costco excursions. There is also an extra set of floor mats included. Currently has almost a full tank of gas! That's worth the $25.00 starting bid right there! NO RESERVE.
