Up for sale is this 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T with only 28,619 Miles. This vehicle is running strong with no mechanical issues, as one of if not the lowest millage R/T for sale in the country. This car is a previous show car with many customizations done to the car, and was purchased through the Barret Jackson Northeast auction in 2018 as lot #145, and has been enjoyed for weekend summer cruises since purchased with roughly 28,000 on the odometer. As I was not the original owner and was not involved in the specifications of the build, I have inserted the description from the original owner below; “ Lot #145 - This 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T wagon has been highly customized. It has custom adjustable air-ride suspension with controls fully integrated into the center console, and the rear doors have been converted to custom suicide doors. The interior has been fully customized with two-tone leather, custom touchscreen radio with navigation, and televisions built into the headrests. The fully custom audio system in the trunk features four 15” Kicker L7 subwoofers, MMATS amplifier and Soundstream capacitor, all built into the trunk in a custom enclosure also covering the air compressors for the suspension. It features custom 22" VCT wheels with brand-new tires, custom hood, custom headlights and taillights, custom panoramic sunroof and many more customized accessories. This custom wagon is powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. The engine has been upgraded with a custom cold-air intake, Dynatech headers, Borla Exhaust and billet accessories in the engine compartment. This one-owner car has 28,000 actual miles. ” Since purchased, I have made a small number of changes to the vehicle in order to return it to more of a stock appearance and increase ride comfort. This includes the removal of the custom air-ride kit, with a stock suspension now installed to remedy a prior stiff ride and battery drain from the compressor. Additionally, Dodge styled 20” wheels have been purchased, new tires as shown, with under 200 miles on the rubber. The 22” VCT wheels pictured on the vehicle on the Barret Jackson site as well as the 1 photo above are available with the vehicle as well if desired. Further, I have installed a stock grille for the R/T as well as stock tail lights, and gear knob. There are still suicide rear doors, TV"s in the headrests, and has a custom moonroof as well. The vehicle as a phenomenal pur through the Borla Exhaust and air intake, and a clearly screaming stereo through the customized system and the 4 15” sub’s from the trunk. As the subwoofers occupy the trunk space, they can be removed if desired for more practical use of the vehicle, and especially access to the battery which is in the trunk. The passenger side front fender does have some flair out as pictured, due to an instance where the wheel had been turned when parked, and the vehicle had lowered down when on the prior air ride suspension. The suspension did cause mechanical difficulty like this situation, and the battery drain, though I believe I have rectified these issues with the removal of that custom system. I had been planning on selling the car this spring because of the modifications of the suspension and suicide doors were not of my personal preference and am seeking a completely stock SRT-8 with equivalent millage. However during the planned sale, the air-ride system had completely blown out, and at that point was forced to install the stock kit. This has remedied most of my concerns as the car is now trust worthy with desirable millage, though I still have the SRT-8 in mind.
