Vehicle description
Great deal on a good running used vehicle. .Please do not bid without the intention of buying! ! Must be able to pick up in East Peoria, Illinois within 7 days of winning the auction! This van runs extremely well - has a brand new alternator & battery and got new shocks and struts a little over a year ago. There are 2 brand new tires with less than 400 miles on them and the other 2 tires are in good condition. Approximately $3200 has been spent on repairs/maintenance in the past 18 months to get it back to a good, running condition. Air conditioning, heat & radio work well. However, This is an older vehicle and has some rust around tire wells and worn in dirt/staining on interior. It looks like an older vehicle, especially on the inside.Being an older vehicle there are some minor issues / inconveniences - 1) The rear hatch does not stay open on its own in cold weather. In the summer it stays up fine but in cooler temperatures it needs to be propped or held open. 2) The lock button only locks and unlocks the front doors & the rear hatch. . you must manually lock and unlock the sliding doors. 3) The drivers side window sticks a bit, if it is unrolled all the way. If you stop before it opens all the way it goes back up without a problem, but if it fully opens it will only come up partway at a time and you have to wait a few seconds before it will go up more. The cloth lining on the interior roof is also coming undone and should be pinned or glued back up - cosmetic issue only and can be driven as is.This is a great vehicle for point A to point B travel. . excellent for young children so you do not need to worry about spills or messes and GREAT for hauling. All of the rear seats can be folded into the bottom of the van to have a completely open back end - fits almost anything I have had to haul in the few years I have owned it. Has been used for hauling mulch and construction materials as well as furniture & a lot of children. While there will always be minor glitches in older vehicles - this is a great choice if you need a lot of space, a good drive-able car & a nice low cost.Buyer is responsible for pick up in East Peoria, Illinois, within one week of winning the auction. Buyer is responsible for providing new plates or transferring the existing plates after purchase. Full payment is due at time of pick up and the title will be mailed upon clearance of payment.* Note - vehicle is being driven minimally until it sells.
