I am selling my last collector car from a list of approx. 30 that I have owned since I retired 24 years ago. I have decided that I can no longer remain in the collector car hobby due to my age and health. I have owned this vehicle 6 months and have only driven it 400 miles. It appears to have been well maintained and used very little, with only 33786 total miles in 15+ years. ( just over 2200 miles per year on average). The tires were installed new in Jan. 2021. They are Firestone Fire Hawk Indy 500"s. 18" fronts and 19" rears. It has new front wheel inner and outer wheel bearings. In case you are not familiar with this model it is the result of a joint venture with Mercedes Benz when they merged with Chrysler back in 2000. The entire chassis including all of the drivetrain, engine, trans, differential, brakes, steering and suspension are Mercedes Benz. It has a 3.2L V6 fuel injected engine with a five speed automatic transmission with overdrive. (There is a feature that allows you to shift manually if you wish.) The engine holds 8+ quarts of Mobil 1 0-40w oil and requires premium fuel. It had a fresh oil and filter change 400 miles ago. There is also a summer/winter button on the console for driving in slippery conditions. Doing this allows the car to take off in second gears to reduce wheel spin. It has disc brakes all around, all in good shape ( approx. half worn). The color is called Graphite Metallic and the interior is charcoal grey leather. The spoiler on the rear lid opens automatically at around 62mph and closes at around 37mph, or you can open it manually with a button on the console. I have included 90+ photos . If you"re like me you want to know all you can before bidding. The photo of a window sticker is close to this car but is not for this car. The only difference is this one does not have the two tone leather, It"s all one color. It was $36,000+ new. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN ANY TRADES DUE TO THE REASON STATED ABOVE. I will assist with loading the vehicle for shipping, but all charges are the buyers responsibility. The auction includes a Motor Trend car cover, correct touch-up paint, and a shop manual on DVD. (see all photos). It also includes a Blue Tooth device , also seen in the photos, that will allow you to play your favorite music ( ie. Pandora, Spotify, or Amazon Music via your cell phone. The speaker system is excellent. Instructions come with this device.
