Vehicle description

ONE OWNER - What a beautiful, zippy and fun to drive sports coupe! It"s super clean in and out. New battery, new tires & alignment, floormats (Lloyd), New synthetic oil change, new air filters - needs nothing! This 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Limited has 74k miles and was purchased new at Don Kott Chrysler Jeep in Carson, CA in July, 2005. This example is finished in Sapphire Silver Blue Metallic over a two-tone (Dk/Md) Slate Gray leather interior and is powered by a Mercedes-derived 3.2-liter V6 paired to a 5-speed AUTOMATIC transmission. The car remains unmodified throughout and has been dealer serviced and maintained since new. It’s offered with some service records and a clean original California title. This Crossfire was garaged in Long Beach and has retained all of its factory paint. There are a few small scratches/dings around the body here and there, but the car is in very good condition overall. Some fading is present on the driver’s side plastic headlamp covers. The Crossfire utilizes the R170 chassis, engine, and transmission from the first-generation Mercedes SLK. Stock wheels measure 18″ in the front and 19″ in the rear. The Crossfire currently has brand new tires on front and rear. Inside, this Crossfire was fitted with the two-tone (Dk/Md)Slate Gray leather interior that remains in nice shape according to the seller. In these photos, both seats look to be well-preserved with only light wear shown on the driver’s outer bolster as detailed in the photo. As these cars are based on the Mercedes SLK of the time, much of the trim and switch gear is recognizable as originating from the German marque. All instrumentation, lighting, and electrics are in good working order including the heated seats, power accessories, and cold air conditioning. The Crossfire also received the Mercedes SLK’s recirculating-ball steering system. The rear cargo area allows for a reasonable amount of storage behind the front seats - and includes new (unused) exclusive Chrylser Crossfire luggage issued to new purchasers at that time. Under the hood, this Crossfire is powered by a Mercedes-derived SOHC 18-valve 3.2-literV6 that was rated by Chrysler at 215 horsepower and 229 lb.-ft. of torque. The original owner has maintained this car at Cerritos Chrysler Jeep (Cerritos) & Glenn E. Thompson Dodge Chrysler (Long Beach) since new. The engine runs well with the 5-speed AUTOMATIC suiting its driving characteristics nicely. It has recently passed a CA smog inspection and is ready for a new home.
