The Chevrolet Silverado racing truck was converted by Magic Customs of Brook Park, Ohio, which fitted it with equipment like a power steering, glass windshield, wipers, mirrors, horn, brake lights, and a passenger seat. VIN# DPS05ASVE52103605 Most everything else is pretty much as you’d find it on the version that Darrell Waltrip fielded in 2005, right down to the #17 Tide/Downy racing livery. (Or at least it would be if Waltrip hadn’t switched to Toyota for the previous season.) Since its conversion, the truck’s been driven all of 700 miles in show events on the street, a d a few track laps on a road course.
