Best vehicle I have ever owned. Purchased when it had 42k and driven it ever since. Went through the drive line and suspension at 100k, rebuilt front and rear diff (rear bearing was going out), u joints, shocks, brake pads/shoes, calipers, wheel cylinders, rotors, drums, all new wheel bearings, trans flush by dealer, 4 wheel alignment, flush coolant etc. Changed oil every 3k. Body is straight and paint looks mostly good but the truck is rusting on the bottom of doors, rockers, and the other typical places on a Chevy this age. Has fender flares so cant speak to fenders condition. Interior is clean but headliner is starting to get loose at front windows. Holes from previous speaker install in A-pillars where bose would be if it had bose. Factory radio but CD player doesnt work. Has steering wheel controls that do work. A/c is cold as ice, colder than my new truck, not joking. LED lighting on interior lights and exterior marker lights, and reverse lights. Entire cab has hush mat all over it and is very quiet for a 2005 going down the road. Dual climate control (manual stick not digital), power driver seat only, z71 off road package, 5.3 v8, rear drum brakes, towing package, plastic bed liner, Michelin m/s 2 tires on factory wheels with 40 percent tread remaining. Has lifetime water pump installed at 100k as well with receipt. Only selling because it wont haul my 5th wheel camper and I have a 1 ton diesel now and cant afford to keep it or I would keep. This is a good used truck that I honestly would not check anything and drive across the country at a moments notice. I am an ase certified 4 year college trained, work tested mechanic and there are not many vehicles I would say this about. Truck comes with the GM Full Factory Service Manuals, 5 THICK books ($350) covering all 2005 Silverado"s. .diesels too. Your mechanic will thank you if anything ever goes wrong.
