Vehicle description
I have a beautiful and immaculately maintainedE46 2005 BMW 330i that need to find a new home. Family obligation is the only reason why I am selling.
This is a very unique E46. I have programmed many European options in this car listed below. Almost everything is new/newer in this car.
In 2018 I bought another car as my daily driver and kept the 330i in my garage for occasional driving. I did not race track this car or abuse it. It is still a very high performance little car with plenty of life. After I swapped the mechanical fan for electric last year it is noticeably faster in engine response.
Please closely inspect all photos and reach out with questions or for additional information. Location is Houston, Texas.
This 330i has 149k miles on it. I purchased it 10years ago with 62k miles. Clean title, no accidents, always garaged and not abused/beaten. I have taken care and serviced this car religiously inside and out. I also kept it as stock and original as possible with some oem upgrades.
Come with Sports Package and M Aerodynamics Package from the factory. This car was made 01/2005 which was the last month of production for E46 Sedan in Germany.
Oil is changed every 5k miles full synthetic Castrol with oem filter. Premium fuel always used. I routinely flushed and refilled brake, power steering fluid and coolant. Engine and transmission are in great condition, responsive, fast and smooth. No leaks at all. The front and rear suspension has less than 5k miles on it (details below).
UPGRADES:
Rear Fog Light – very rare! Probably the only one of the few American E46 with rear fog light. I got the switch overseas and programmed it (wasn’t easy). Only European models came with rear fog light.
Bluetooth Telephone
Homelink garage door opener on headliner
Rear view mirror with auto dimming, compass and additional Homelink transmitter
BMW alarm
Mechanical fan replaced with Electric fan
Amber taillights and front signal lights replaced with clear lights from Germany
PROGRAMMING:
In addition to the rear fog light, I also programmed the following options that were typically found on European models:
Double flash hazards
Adaptive Brake Lights
Speedometer Real Speed (stock is +5.7%)
Front corner marker lights delete
Front fog lights with high beams activated
Follow me home lights activation
Speed limiter removed
MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE:
I did everything possible to stay ahead of maintenance and fix issues, leaks, problems before they began. All work was done by me unless otherwise noted.

EXTERIOR:
The body and paint on this car is an amazing shape considering the age. No dents or major imperfections. There are scratches, scuffs and small imperfections. The hood, roof and trunk can use some elbow grease to bring back its shine and buff out the look. I would give the hood 7/10, roof 7/10 and trunk 6/10 - they could use a good compound and buff.
Overall for the age the whole body is 8/10.
INTERIOR:
The interior is close to excellent condition. I had the headliner fixed as they always come apart on these cards. Front pillars are new, rear pillars are original but some clips broken. Door panels, dash and bezels are all in excellent condition. Sunglasses compartment, cup holder, coin holder, sun visors and mats are new.
The rear seats are in excellent condition. The front seats are great for their age, with the passenger seat getting a 8/10 and the driver seat 5/10.
The steering wheel stitching is coming apart so that will need to be redone at some point if it bothers you.
There is a dash cam that comes with the car. There is a rock crack in the middle of the windshield and about a 5-inch crack on the passenger side that has not expanded in 10 years.
WHEELS:
Some curb rash and scratches on all wheels. Overall 6/10 for their age.
ISSUES:
There are very little issues with this car. If you are familiar with the E46 platform these shouldn’t be a big problem.
The trunk lights are not working. I have done a lot of troubleshooting and replacing of parts but the lights will not activate. Checked all the wiring and there is no short or damaged wires.
The radio sometimes flashes BMW assist message but goes away. This is tied somehow to the Bluetooth installed (oem).
PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR FOR ADDITIONAL PHOTOS AND DETAILS. THANKS!
