Vehicle description

It’s a 2005 325Ci with 144K miles on it. The vehicle is paid off and the registration is valid (photos show the old sticker), with smog being performed last year. There are no Check Engine Lights. It’s entirely stock except for the H&R springs and Bilstein struts. There are minimal maintenance records because I did most of the work myself. More images are listed below. Let me know if you"d like to see other angles or have any other questions. The vehicle is Sold AS IS , below are some of my recommendations that I did not get to repair. There may be other recommendations that I did not notice that may need looking at.
Cosmetically: Exterior: It’s in average condition. Paint has slight oxidation in a few areas, but overall the car retains it’s color and there is no flaking clear coat. There are couple of minor scratches here and there. No major deformities other than one scratch on the rear passenger side bumper that could be DIY’ed. The front bumper needs slight realignment. The weather sealing is nearing its end. Interior: The interior sags just like most other E46’s at this age. The leather on the all seats are smooth and do not have tears. The leather on the rear seat is starting to unstitch. The leather on center arm rest is starting to get rough. The steering wheel leather is starting to get a little rough. The interior wood has light scratches and a few cracks, but the surfaces are still smooth and unwrapped.
Mechanically: Interior: The interior’s electronics and mechanisms all function as they should Exterior: Driver side door lock does not engage by key remote, but will open by using the key physically. Passenger side mirror moves electronically, but does not respond well to memory preset. This seems to be common on this generation of BMW’s. Performance: The steering wheel is starting to go soft, but it’s still clearly defined. This may be due to ball joints, RTABs, and/or the Steering Guibo. Engine bay: Minor leaks are coming from the power steering reservoir.
Other Info: The tires are about halfway through their life. The engine doesn’t leak from the last time I checked underneath. The oil and filter have been changed every 5K miles. The transmission has had it’s oil replaced every 50K miles, it still shifts smoothly. The cooling system has been redone in the last 3 years. The fuel pump/tank has been replaced by BMW NA within the last 5 years.
Car History: The vehicle was purchased by our family in 2008 in which was initially used for local college commuting by my sibling and I, and then as my parent"s work commute vehicle for the last 5 years. The car has essentially been adult driven for most of its duration. The car has only seen 1-2K miles, per year, for the last 3 years because we share 6 cars between a family of 4 drivers. The 325Ci and M3 E46 have been driven the least amount.
