I absolutely love driving this car. By far one of the most enjoyable cars to drive around town and on trips. It"s most definitely a looker, and if you"re familiar with Subaru you know it"s built to last. The all-wheel drive is a blast in the snow.
I bought the car from NJ/NY area to work on and enjoy driving as a second car. At the time it needed a little bit of work to get it back in good shape. It"s completely stock, so you don"t have to worry about random parts or it being molested by tuners blowing anything up.
Things that have been fixed on the car: New front Brembos, new front hard brake lines, new soft stainless steel brake lines, rear swaybar links, new (used) struts, new clutch, airbag recall fixed by Subaru, new slotted rotors, brake pads, replaced studs on certain wheels.
Things that should probably be fixed at some point: Rear wheel bearings (I have all 4 front and back that will be included with the car) Rear struts - Unfortunately the 04 STI rear OEM struts have a design flaw which effects all 04 STI"s and creates a weird clunk when going over large bumps. Doesn"t bother me too much. I planned on replacing them last.
It"s a fantastic car. Pulls hard and drives great. It"s been my dream car and still will be. I"m selling it so I can focus on another project at the moment. A rear 07 STI limited spoiler lip, 2 front & 2 rear wheel bearings, 1 08 wrx steering wheel and airbag and front sway bar links will be included. I had planned on wiring steering wheel controls with the newer steering wheel.
