Vehicle description
This vehicle does not currently run. It needs minor motor repair and reassembly. It belongs to my father-in-law. A repair shop was changing the passenger side head gasket and they damaged the threads in one head-bolt hole in the block. The shop said 40% of the threads in the hole are remaining. Rather than continue with the repair my father-in-law decided to take the car back and sell it. All parts needed to reassemble the motor are included with the vehicle including new gaskets and belts as shown in the pictures. The threads might work just being cleaned out. There is a head-bolt machined into a stud to use in the repair. Alternatively the threads can be repaired with a helicoil or threaded insert. The vehicle was purchased at at 115K miles and now has approximately 150K. It has been well maintained and has many new parts including remanufactured heads and new tires and battery.
