Vehicle description
2004 Dodge Sprinter 140" High Roof Passenger Van, listing with NO RESERVE starting at the trade-in value.
Has been driven daily but with low miles up until COVID and then just weekly. Owned since 2012 with about 52k miles so averaged about 8k miles/year.
Replaced the van with a smaller Transit Connect that"s easier to park in the city and has modern safety features like lane assist/blind spot that the older Sprinter can"t have.
This van is not in perfect condition due to its age, please note the paint fading and peeling in a few spots particularly on the hood as it meets the grille.
Some minor nicks here and there in the paint and the typical very small rust spots that all Sprinters seem to get but the condition is better than most other Sprinters with twice the miles.
Passed CA smog a few weeks ago, will also include all service history/records (none prior to 2012)
Aside from the known issues marked below is mechanically in decent condition, brakes are good, transmission, engine, turbo resonator has been replaced and ECU recall update has been performed.

2017 YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR A/T G015 E tires still have decent tread life, 2019 New Interstate Battery
Known Issues:
#1 - Glow Plug failure, this will set check engine light when engine is cold. This is normally a simple and cheap fix however glow plug wasn"t able to be removed by mechanic so the bad one has just been left in.
Apparently this is a common issue with this generation Sprinter. May need to be drilled out (see special kits for this like https:/ www.ebay.com/itm/Muller-Werkzeug-600-248-Drill-Kit-for-Glow-Plug-Removal-M8x1-Sprinter/303698340138?hash=item46b5d4e92a:g:kr0AAOSwB3VfZ4T7 ) or worst case the head replaced (https:/ www.idparts.com/complete-cylinder-head-om647-t1n-05136759aa-908676k-p-2981.html)
We"ve left it with the bad glow plug in for the past few years and it"s been fine, starts every time with the other 4 glow plugs. Personally I would leave it until any work on the headgasket/engine needed to be done and then replace it at that point.
#2 - Carfax may show one very minor accident, About 4-5 years ago someone in a parking lot crashed into the driver side front headlight, it was replaced/bumper repaired by insurance and the hood blended paint but no structural damage.
#3 - Rear AC compressor not functional, normal Front AC is fine.
#4 - Missing 3rd row passenger seat, was lost when storage shed burned during area wildfires.
#5 - Some nicks/scuffs in the door cards and door panels, and some loose trim pieces though just replaced many of the broken trim clips recently. This was previously a handicap equipped vehicle and the equipment was removed but there are still some mounting holes/power cables left from the conversion/removal.
#6 - Aftermarket Backup camera not hooked up (was run under passenger seat needs to be run to dash for newer head unit) and siriusxm antenna not run to outside.
