UP FOR SALE: 2004 Mercury Sable Wagon - 3 liter DOHC engine, only 138k miles, front wheel drive, power everything (LS Premium), includes third row fold down seat and retracting rear area cover. This is the hard to find station wagon version of the Sable/Taurus - the wagon has much better vehicle weight balance and handling than the sedan version!
New fuel pump, freshly cleaned fuel tank and new fuel as well as a new battery, cold AC, everything works. Body in good shape - only a couple of minor dings/dents in the doors and some peeling clearcoat on the rear bumper. Paint in good condition overall, the drivers seat has some minor damage (see photos), otherwise leather seats and interior are in good shape. Records book kept showing maintenance since I"ve owned it for the last eight years.
We"ve pwned this vehicle since 2011 when it had 82,244 miles. When we purchased the vehicle, the reports indicated the vehicle had been in an accident - in 2004 when it was two weeks old. I believe it the initial accident was a dented rear quarterpanel, based on the vehicle paint.
This car runs great and is ready for a new home.
