2004 Mazda Tribute. 2nd owner. Selling as a PARTS VEHICLE. SUV does run and is drivable, but has issues: - Transmission needs to be rebuilt/replaced. Does not go into 2nd or 5th gear. Will shift from 1st to 3rd and 3rd to 4th. - 4 wheel drive used to work, but with the transmission problem listed above came an issue with the 4x4. I"m not sure if the solenoid is fixed would the 4x4 be fixed along with it. - Brakes need attention. Either has a broken front pad or a bad router. Possibly more, but would start there. - Tires need to be replaced - Exhaust pipe is bad and needs to be replaced Other than that, the SUV is in pretty good shape for one that is 13 years old. No major road rash. Battery is new, and the shocks/struts and radiator are less than 6 months old. Interior is in fairly good shape. Has leather seats, etc. No sun roof. Aftermarket radio (upgrade compared to stock).
If you had the time and patience, you would likely be able to get this SUV back to being a daily driver, but I don"t have either, so I am selling.
For anyone that has a similar vehicle that needs body parts, this is a great opportunity. The car will start and drive. The tranny could last another 3 days or 3 years as it is - driving as it is is a crap shoot for sure.
