Vehicle description
This is a V6 sports car with the cargo space of an SUV. With the hatch and the 60/40 folding rear seat, we"ve been able to haul large pieces of furniture, lumber, even a full-size carousel horse! Here are some of this car"s features in addition to the ones already listed: Alloy wheels Heated seats Bose stereo system with subwoofer 60/40 folding rear seat Accident free, rust free Full maintenance records Regular oil changes Fully inspected and valid until Dec 31, 2018 The car needs attention in a few areas. It will not pass inspection without some work, which we"ve chosen not to invest in. We are selling the car AS IS. Engine leaks oil at a significant rate (at least 1 qt per 1,000 miles). Diagnosed by Mazda dealer as “oil leaking through piston rings and valve seals”. Pre-catalytic converter: needs to be replaced. Damaged from engine oil leaking onto it, and causes Check Engine code P0431 (Catalyst efficiency below threshold, bank #2). Alternator: needs to be replaced. Not working. Car can be jump started, but won"t run for any significant distance. (Please don"t plan to drive car away under its own power!) Front brakes, pads and rotors: need to be replaced Rear tires: need to be replaced Smaller issues: Headliner: hanging loose in a few places In-dash CD player removed Some LED lights on dashboard (e.g. fan speed) not working Small amount of water collects in spare tire well after rain. Don"t know where it"s coming from. This is a wonderful car and we"re sorry to let it go, but it needs more care and investment than we want to put into it at this point. If you are interested in spending a little time and money on it, this could be a great find!
