Vehicle description
SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY - ASK YOUR WIFE BEFORE BIDDING! You are bidding on a used car. This is a 2004 Maserati Cambiocorsa Coupe. Two Door. Black on Black. F1 Paddle shifts. 38,254 Miles. If you did your research you will know that this car is famous for needing new clutch at 25,000 to 30,000 miles. A new clutch was put in around 25,000. Car also recently went to Maserati in Charleston for a new/programmed key. Also, if you"ve done your research on this car the notorious sticky button thing has already been replaced. Leather in excellent condition. Car was garage kept for most of it years. Runs well. Sound well. This car is an auction AS IS. Known problems: Radio doesn"t work. The electronics work - it turns on - but the radio doesn"t play. The CD case was cracked and a piece removed. NO LIGHTS ON - meaning there is no "check engine" or anything on. However - the AIRBAG light is on meaning the airbag will NOT deploy on an accident. It was left that way because in the humid southern sun you don"t want a 2004 airbag to deploy because of deterioration. Also, every so often - the gear box shift on the dash turns red and that means you have to wait a second before shifting gears. It was discussed with a Maserati dealership on the problem (and they said it was common) - but it didn"t bother the current owner enough to make the repair. Also - the car alarm has been removed. It was removed when the new car key was added. The car has had a slow electrical leak and the car alarm might have had something to do with it. The battery is in the trunk of the car and it is designed with an On/Off switch (so no battery tender needed). When the car is parked in the garage - you can turn off the battery with a switch to prevent any battery drain. NOTE: the ebay car report has listed an accident in 2014, in Illinois. THIS IS FALSE. We are currently contesting the record and hope to have it cleared before this auction ends. This car has not been out of South Carolina since we"ve owned it (2009).
