Vehicle description
First of all, thank you for looking. If you know about the Toyota Land Cruiser / Lexus LX470, you already know that these trucks are built to last and are very capable. I needed a vehicle with 6+ seatbelts, could tow 5,000+ pounds, would be comfortable for my wife and kids, all while being something manly and capable should the kids choose a dadventure over their iPads.
I bought this rig when we found out we were having a 4th child and my 5 seater pickup wouldn’t fit the family anymore. I searched for months to find the right one before having this one shipped from Florida to my home in Utah. I just bought a new 6-seater truck and can’t justify keeping this one. Well, and I kinda want to put the money into my 68 Bronco :)
I bought it from a dealer who bought it from the original owners. The service history with Lexus is spotless and is well documented through about 170K miles. I’ve always used 91 octane fuel and changed the oil every 5000 miles. This vehicle was my daily driver and was used as the family vehicle for trips to the cabin. I towed a small flatbed utility trailer to the dump a few times. Never truly off-roaded, just the occasional oiled dirt road.
Since purchasing less than 2 years ago I have had the following work done totaling over $9,500: Removed AHC suspension and installed new OME lift 275/70R18 BFGoodrich All Terrains Front ARB Bumper + Fog Light Kit Warn M8000 Winch with Synthetic Line Added the Toyota / Lexus towing attachment Removed running boards Timing belt and water pump New steering rack and pinion Driver CV axle and boot Front Brakes Replaced the power antenna New windshield Replaced all exterior bulbs
It has all the bells and whistles. Navigation, heated leather seats, sunroof, premium Mark Levinson sound, all of the windows are automatic, memory seats, power telescopic steering, cruise control, cassette, multi-disk changer, garage opener, and more.
It starts, runs, and drives like a dream. It needs nothing. Everything works perfectly. With that said, it is a 15 year old vehicle with nearly 182K miles and is not a new vehicle. I"ve done my absolute best to describe the details that matter to me but if there is something I missed, just ask.
It does have the 2nd row and rear cargo mats. I have been using some sweet Prius front mats that I will include :)
Reserve is well below the money I’ve invested. Clear Utah title in my name and ready for transfer. This vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. $500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of close of auction via PayPal. Remainder due within 7 days via cashiers check or wire transfer. Buyer responsible for transportation.
Pictured but not included is the tow hitch and ball.
