Vehicle description

Vehicle Details Starts, Runs, Drives, But needs work to fix the slipped sleeve #1 cylinder that knocks and has been looked at by certified mechanic. Currently slight issue with the security mode and starting due to sitting for awhile. I stopped driving it before I did any major damage to the motor, it never overheated or stopped running. It needed 1 qt of oil per 3000 miles driven, and may not be getting full gas to all spark plugs, but oil pressure is decent. I can provide oil pressure numbers when needed. I do need to go and double check the mileage but I’m close in estimating at 120K. I’ll have that updates within the next 1-2 days at most. I can work through the security button issue and get it started. I drove it 20 miles to where it’s stored with the only signs of the cylinder sleeve issue being a knocking noice and slight shaking. I have no idea how many miles It can be driven like that, which is the reason I stopped driving it. I think the person I bought it from knew of the issue but told me it was the power steering pump knocking that would go away as soon as I replaced it. I believed that without researching, and for that mistake I was ever really able to drive it as it’s intended to be driven, and babied it driving back and forth to my job for a few months not knowing what the issue was at the time. It’s taught me a lot about the Land Rover motor and Land Rover in general as I’ve since bought one to part out and had success with it as well as a Range Rover Sport I bought and sold for parts. I just don’t have the money currently, to fix the issue unfortunately, and have no choice at the time but to sell it to someone with the means to fix the problem and enjoy it. It’s sharp looking with no major eye sores and cleans up nice. I also have the following original accessory parts, the full size spare and cover, jack, owners manuals, emergency roadside kit in the original case with tire blocks and jack handles. I sold the cargo cover because i never used it and was thinking about parting out the truck at the time with over $11,000 worth of parts going by sold for prices, and only including accessible parts that I’m capable of dealing with not being a mechanic. That doesn’t include major motor, transmission or coolant system parts. But I’ve decided to try this route first to see what the interest level might be and who knows, possibly make someone’s day with a sweet looking Model Year Land Rover Disco 2 that deserves to be out on the road being admired. Thanks for taking a look. Also: I Just noticed when taking pictures on the family property where I have it stored yesterday, that the back bumper cover is now cracked on the drivers side corner and the corner black trim piece that sits above the bumper cover is missing. This would be the reason I don’t have more pictures, as it was a new discovery that needed to settle with . I was prepared to list it with no cosmetic damage or flaws, but the bumper crack changed that idea. It’s one crack, large but not all the way through that can most likely be mig welded by the right person. I know I’ve seen worse that was no problem to weld for the person doing it at the time. I’ve got a 2006 4.4 L V8 Range Rover Sport Motor, The Jaguar V8 Used from 2006-2009 in Range Rover Soort, with good compression and working condition sitting in the rear cargo trunk area of this 2004 Discovery 2 that I’m selling and would entertain making a deal if for some reason the buyer has interest in the Range Rover motor Images Download the Motors app
