Vehicle description
2004 Jeep Wrangler X, Columbia Edition, Auto, Hard & Soft Top, NO AC FROM THE FACTORY. Clean Title and Car Fax report on hand.
I"ll start by saying that this vehicle has no AC from the factory. Please keep that in mind.
I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle and drove it as a second vehicle but it could comfortably be used as a daily driver. No engine light or leaks. This vehicle was maintained extremely well before I bought it and I will include the Car Fax report that shows all of the maintenance performed through the years. Most normal wear and tear parts have been replaced in the last few years including belts, water pump, tune up, and all fluids (even trans. and differential)
Below is a list of what the vehicle had when I purchased it:
-2.5" lift with brand new LT265/70R17 Tires (about 32") Tires now have about 85-90% tread left -Upgraded radio w/cd player and SAT ready, speakers, and sub-woofer with an amp installed under the drivers seat. The radio also has an aux USB cable that you can hook up your iPod or phone to.
-Black hard top with smoke windows. Top is in good shape except the rear wiper isn"t hooked up.
This is everything that I have done in the last 3 years: -New Trek soft top with tinted windows (instructions included) -Receiver hitch with cover -Cat back OE exhaust -New battery & starter (done at 96k miles)
-Rubicon Express shocks and steering stabilizer -Heavy duty Brown Dog Offroad motor mounts -Rebuilt Transfer case (done at 100k miles) -Rubicon Express track bar & quick disconnect sway bars
-Heavy duty front lower control arms -Inner & outer tie rod ends and sleeves -Upper & lower ball joints
-KC fog lights -Stainless Steel hood catches -Front bumper brush guard and bug-shield -Heavy duty spare tire carrier
-Front brakes, rotors, calipers, brake hoses, rear shoes & hardware all done around 96K miles -Oil change and tires rotated every 3k miles
-I will also include safari door mirrors (for when you remove the full doors)
The frame has been treated twice a year with fluid film and shows little to no rust. There was an area of the frame that was rusted when I purchased the vehicle and I had a Jeep shop remove the spot and weld a sleeve in it"s place. I"ve done my best to list everything but please ask any questions first. The only issues that I can think of, other than no AC, is I don"t have a key for the tailgate, so it doesn"t lock. You can buy a used lock cylinder with keys. The front passenger side interior door lock sticks sometimes so I usually open it from the outside. There is a scratch in the front left fender flare and also some paint damage on the fender. You can see it in the close up picture that the paint is bubbling up. Other than that the jeep is in great shape. There are certainly little scratches and rust spots but overall the paint looks great. It rides straight and tight and I"ve never had any mechanical issues. The heat blows hot.
Thanks for looking!
