Vehicle description
This Jeep has the 4.0 liter in-line six cylinder engine which if you know Jeep"s it is probably one of the best engines they ever made. It is automatic with rear-wheel drive and will get 21 mpg on the highway. Vehicle has been properly maintained and many wear-and-tear parts replaced as needed. Tires are excellent condition, nice paint, all plastic lower body trim in good condition, all headlights and rear light assemblies replaced recently with new parts. No oil or water leaks! 500 miles to next service. It will easily see 250,000 miles with simple and "inexpensive" maintenance. It has cloth seats in good condition (small tear in driver seat, see photos) but an easy upgrade to new covers would not be expensive, leather covers are available at reasonable price too.
Cruise control and CD player not working (radio ok). Power locks work, all lighting works, dash has no cracks. A/C compressor and evaporator installed new three years ago. Most of the interior plastic is excellent condition but there is the usual wear and tear on some of the panel hardware (the vehicle is 16 years old). Battery in good condition and starts immediately even after sitting for a week or two. Exhaust components, transmission, serpentine belt and hoses replaced recently and all in good condition. Full-size spare tire is "new", jack has never been used. Have original owners manual. There is one small rattle in the back that I believe is a worn shock absorber upper bushing. This Jeep has made three non-stop round trips from Florida to New England in the past 4 years without any problems. Selling because I just don"t need it anymore.
