Vehicle description
This is a 2004 Infiniti G-35 Coupe, Silver. The car is in generally good condition, but is being sold AS IS ONLY. According to the dealership it has a bad Transmission Control Unit. The car still drives, but the computer won"t switch gears out of 4th when in drive. It can still reverse, park, neutral, etc, and attain highway speeds in a pinch. Two different dealerships confirmed the TCU was out and did not think there was anything mechanically wrong with the transmission itself.
The car has been garage kept and is very low miles (82k). It has a non-factory stereo, which is a good thing for you because the factory stereo for this year/model has major problems and is difficult and expensive to replace. It has factory navigation and a Bose speaker system upgrade.
With a new TCU and a detailing, this car would be a great weekend rider or primary driver for someone who wants a nice, sporty coupe without a big budget.
I have owned the vehicle since about 2008. It has relatively new tires and has been well maintained. I simply don"t have room for it anymore and haven"t had the time or the money to fix it myself.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
