Vehicle description
Ford Thunderbird . I bought this car in May 2016 with 78,000 miles on the odometer from a local dealer. It was supposed to be a daily driver but it has been from St. Louis to Washington State, Florida, North Carolina and Arkansas. In the years I owned it I put in a new AC compressor, front right Hub (wheel bearing), Stereo with hands free and is video capable(no cameras installed), dressed it up with extra chrome on Tail lights and hood scoop. The car still looks very nice and cleaned with no major body damage, just the regular scratches and dings you would expect to see on a 16 year old car. This Ruby Slipper has never left me on the side of the road, but has been down for repairs like most. It will come with the Body color matching Hard top, Tan Soft top(onboard), factory Tan Tonneau/boot for when the top is down, a Bikini cover for when the top is down to protect from sun/rain(not pictured), a cover for the hard top when not installed and a nose bra for highway driving, also misc. parts I took off and some I bought to maintain it, It just had a Missouri State Inspection in May (Mechanical and Emissions). The cooling system has had a constant small leak and has been in the shop and parts replaced but it got another leak since up under the brake master cylinder, probably another failed plastic part and I haven"t driven it more than a couple miles at a time. The cooling system is a weird type set up that requires bleeding air out whenever coolant is added, and I didn"t know the first time and let the genie out of the bottle. It"s been a pain since so that"s where I draw the line and someone else can pick up where I left off. The last shop it was in told me that maybe a regular Ford dealer could get it worked out but I"ve lost all patience with this one and have other cars to play with. Low start price and NO RESERVE. DON"T bid if you don"t intend to pay, and me don"t like non-paying bidders. There is an immediate Non-refundable Deposit of $500 at end of auction via PayPal. Inspections are welcome, just contact me the sooner the better. The remainder of the auction price can be paid with Cash on pick up or check that clears my bank before car is removed and within 7 days of auction end. If you need any more details let me know before auction ends.
