Vehicle description
Up for sale is a gold 2004 Ford Taurus SES. 146,000+ miles. I recently received another vehicle and no longer need this one. I have been the owner of this vehicle since August of 2011. The car starts up with no issue every time you put the key in and rides well. The transmission was rebuilt in 2016, and four new tires were also put on in 2016.
There are a couple of issues to point out:
1. This time of year, the biggest issue is the HVAC system. The A/C will not blow cold air. The heat works, but only on the highest fan setting. The defogger and back window heater work.
2. Body damage. There is some moderate damage to the frame. Specifically the rear bumper and rear passenger side door. The rear damage is entirely cosmetic, the bumper has been pushed in from someone rear ending me. The door was damaged when someone backed out into me. The door still functions perfectly. See pictures. Other than that, there are a few dings and small scratches in the paint.
3. The interior is mostly clean, and includes relatively new floor mats and a steering wheel cover (see photos). However, there are a couple of drink stains in the rear section of the interior.
As of this posting, those are the only issues I am aware of.
Other than that, the radio system, wipers, windows, mirrors, etc all work. The engine and battery run well. A brand new set of wiper blades will be included with any sale. The driver"s manual is also included.
