2004 Ford Explorer 4 Door Eddie Bauer Edition
This Ford Explorer is being offered for sale at $1.00 OPENING BID/NO RESERVE! ! PLEASE read the description VERY CAREFULLY as the Ford has many Strong Points and Weak Points! This Ford is currently licensed, insured, and Pennsylvania state inspected until July of 2022. The vehicle is driven daily and has 115,000 original miles . STRONG POINTS
1. Clear Pennsylvania Title! 2. Pennsylvania state inspected until July of 2022! 3. Original Ford 6 cylinder engine performs fine. 4. Clean vehicle that presents well. One minor rust blister on the body (see photo). 5. New Rear Struts 6. New Rear Tires and Brakes; front tires are very good! 7. New Fan Belt 8. Recent Oil Change and lube 9. Recent transmission servicing (oil changed and filters replaced) 10. Four Wheel Drive works fine 11.Lights, wipers, heater/defroster work fine 12. Clean undercarriage 13. Clean Interior 14. Radio works fine
WEAK POINTS
1. Check Transmission Light appears when driving - I did have my local garage change the transmission fluid and filters. The car continues to drive fine. I have driven the vehicle about 2,000 miles since the transmission light appeared with no problems. 2. I had the local Ford Dealer check the transmission Code on their computer:The computer shows PCM P0732 Gear 2 - incorrect ratio, P0735 gear 5 incorrect ration; P0775 Pressure Control Solenoid B malfunction. In spite of this, I continue to drive the vehicle with no problems. You decide? ? 3. Driver seat is BAD and needs replacement (due to the previous owner). Replacement bottom cushions are available on for the Eddie Bauer editions. 4. Headliner starting to sag at the top of the windshield. 5. Air Conditioning needs servicing
