Vehicle description

Up for auction is our family"s ONE OWNER 2004 E-350 SD Super RV 12 pass. ESV Transmaster Raised Roof Conversion Van. We ordered this van to our specs primarily for our family vacations. We have enjoyed this van very much over the 16 years we have owned it and have had to do minimal repairs over the 152,000 miles we have put on it. All the service work for this van has been performed at the local Ford dealer where we purchased it, using only genuine Ford parts. I have all the copies of all service work done since new. We ordered this van from Chris Auffenberg Ford in Washington , Mo on 01/30/2004. We wanted something large enough for our family of 5 to spread out on long trips and be able to stand up and move around and also have extra space so friends can join us. This is why we ordered the E-350 12 passenger conversion with the raised roof and the 6.0 L Powerstroke diesel engine. We wanted something capable of pulling a 10,000 lb trailer for our motorcycles and with the 3.55 Gears we still get 20 Mpg. These diesel engines last hundreds of thousands of miles when properly maintained unlike the gas versions that are done at 150,000 miles. When we went to order the conversion from Ford we found out that we ordered the bare E-350 SD S RV Van with the 138 inch Wheel base with no upholstery and the PKG 763 A RV C trim. Once purchased on 01/30/2004 the van was sent to Eclipse Conversions in Elkhart, IN on 04/28/04 to perform the conversion. Eclipse was the official builder for Ford van Conversions. When we ordered this van we wanted something that was going to last as long as the power train, not just your regular 1/2 ton gas powered conversion, which Eclipse also does. So we chose the commercial style conversion, it offered 12 passenger seating, that not only reclined, but also moved side to side to make an aisle for easy loading and then move over so you have plenty of space for seating. The rear seat also folds into a bed. The seats are covered in commercial grade fabric, which still looks great, with no odors, burns or stains. The flooring in the rear is also commercial grade non-skid rubber and carpet with mats in the drivers section. The 2 front seats are power and have heat as well. This van has great visibility with the Dark Tint, Extra Length Vista Bay Windows. This van is also equipped with a TV, DVD, Game Station with Wireless Headphones, power invertor. There are plenty of cupholders and storage throughout. This van is very well insulated in the walls and ceilings. It is equipped with front and rear air, with the rear a/c unit being a HP 26,000 BTU overhead unit. Just for reference, a typical rv trailer unit is 13,500 BTU to 15,000 BTUs. This shows how well these vans were overbuilt. It is also equipped with a HP 24,000 BTU ducted side wall heating system along with the factory van a/c and heat. It also has an air compressor for tires, rafts, etc. , power invertor, aux. battery, 2 flip down clothes hangers, back up camera, four 12 volt power outlets, fire extinguisher, Factory Ford PTO- Engine Idle Control, PS, PW, PDL, Cruise Control, Tilt Wheel, AM/FM 6 Disc CD stereo, 6 PO Ltr Powerstroke Diesel with the electronic 5-SPD Auto O/DT Trans, Block Heater, Dual Alternators. It is equipped with 16 inch Factory Forged Aluminum Wheels, with Firestone HT Trans-Force tires with about 3,000 miles on them. I also have an extra set of wheels with no tires that we used with our winter tires. All the wheels and tires are in very good condition with no gouges, scrapes, repairs in tires, curb rash or pitting. This van always been parked in a climate controlled building since new. The exterior silver paint is in very good condition, I would say 8 out of 10 with only 8 or 9 small imperfections. There is no peeling, checking, or any paint defects, except for 1 chip on the raised roof above the windshield, a scrape on the passenger side running board, and a couple of very small dents. The vinyl stripes have a small crack in them. I"m being very picky here because I want everyone to know exactly what you are bidding on. I have pictures of the small spots of damage and extras of the van I can e-mail. I am very anal when it comes to my vehicles and their service. I have always had the van serviced at the Ford Dealer with Factory Ford Parts. I have all the service records from Ford and brochures from Eclipse since we picked up the van on 07/07/04. As some of you know, and for those of you who don"t, I want to disclose that Ford had a few problems with the 6.0 L powerstroke in the beginning. We have owned several 7.3 L"s and this 6.0 L. I was to say the least a little concerned after hearing some of the problems other owners were having but after all, we had a warranty and an extended warranty so we felt comfortable Ford would take of it if a problem arose. We have had very minimal problems with the van as a whole and the 6.0 L Powerstroke. The trouble with the 6.0 L powerstroke is they had a problem with the head gaskets getting oil into the coolant. This happened to us on 11/29/07 at 37,809 miles while still under warranty. Ford changed out all the defective parts with the new re-engineered Ford parts to correct the problem. I have the invoice which is 1 and 1/2 pages long showing all the parts and work performed. We have never had a problem in the 120,000 miles since then except for normal maintenance. Here is a list of maintenance we have done over the years we have done to the van : 08/29/05- Recall 08/29/05 - Recall 04B19 Front Spring 09/14/05 - Recall 05534 Replace Fuel Inj. The E350 SD is built very heavy duty with big brakes, king pins instead of ball joints that wear out. Heavy duty cooling system, large rear end with 3:55 gears and HD trailer pkg. It stops with no pulling, pulsing or vibrations and also has an Electric Trailer Brake Controller. All service is up to date and van needs nothing but to be driven it has a lot of years of service left. This van has a clean Car Fax with only 2 minor incidents. The first one, I backed my pickup into the front hood and grill in my driveway (5 mph) and the second one I hit a deer, right on the exact same spot on front. The hood, grill and bumper were the only parts damaged, there was no structural damage, such as the core support or frame. Both accidents were repaired at the Ford Dealer with Factory Ford Parts. We have loved and enjoyed this van for 16 years and it will be missed. Our family is grown now and not using it as much as it should be. I drive it once a month just to keep everything moving but it"s time for someone else to enjoy this beautiful, heavy duty van. Sorry the ad is so long, but this van is very rare with a lot of options. As you can see by my feedback, I strive to do my best to describe my items very thoroughly so there are no disappointments or problems when a buyer shows up. I have never had anyone not be extremely happy with my descriptions. I"m sure some of you have run into sellers that are very vague and won"t mention any damage, stains or odors ( things you can"t see in their pictures ) and then you travel 1,000 miles, pay for airfare, take time off work and then the vehicle is nowhere close to what the seller described, and then they turn to you and say - well it is what it is! This won"t happen with me. I strive to make every transaction the easiest possible. Please ask any and all questions before bidding and if you have less than a 10 feedback- don"t bid unless you contact me first or I will cancel your bid. A $500 Deposit is required within 24 hours of auction. Don"t let this one get away this is the first time listing this van. Thanks for looking and have a great day.
