Vehicle description
One of the cleanest, most babied Discovery"s in the country. Drive anywhere. Maintenance records included as well. I have 180+ photos and video for those seriously interested. This truck is a time capsule and second to none.
This 2004 Land Rover Discovery was first registered in Pennsylvania and spent time in Illinois prior to the seller’s acquisition in 2015. Finished in Java Black over black leather, this truck is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and two-speed transfer case. Modifications include an Old Man Emu lift, ARB bull bar, rock sliders, a Voyager roof rack, and more, while service by the seller included resealing the engine and replacing the alternator, air conditioning compressor, condenser, and receiver drier. Now showing just under 82k miles, this Series II Discovery is offered with service records, manufacturer’s literature, an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Virginia title in the name of the seller’s LLC.
The exterior is finished in Java Black (697) and modifications include an ARB bull bar with two Hella lights, a Voyager roof rack with four additional Hella lights in front and one at the rear, and a rear ladder. The seller notes a rust spot on the roof and the ladder. The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage, and close-up photos are provided below.
Factory 18″ alloy wheels are fitted with BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires measuring 265/65, with a full-sized spare mounted on the swing-out rear door. An Old Man Emu lift kit and rock sliders were installed by the seller.
Perforated black leather upholstery is accented with suede on the door panels and a strip of burl wood above the glovebox. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, dual glass sunroofs, and cruise control. A Pioneer stereo with XM capabilities replaces the factory unit, and the seller has fitted a set of all-weather utility mats and a new headliner.
The 4.6-liter V8 was factory-rated at 217 horsepower at 4,750 rpm and 300 lb-ft of torque at 2,600 rpm, which is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The seller’s records indicate that the engine received a new intake gasket, timing cover gasket, rear main seal, cross seals, and head gaskets at about 71k miles, and the alternator and power steering pump were also replaced at that time. The air conditioning compressor, condenser, and receiver drier were replaced at 77k miles, along with the coolant expansion tank. More recent service included replacing the right rear brake line.
