Vehicle description

2004 Chrysler Pacifica in great condition. 3rd row seating. AWD. Leather. New Mastercraft tires ($700) were put on a year and a half ago. Front struts were replaced earlier this year. Front brakes were replaced about a year ago. It had a new transmission put in before we bought it. There is something a little weird with the shift linkage. If you"re going from Drive to Reverse, you have to move the shift lever a tiny bit past Reverse (toward Park), and then into Reverse. It always goes into all the gears and shifts totally fine, but sometimes this is a little weird. Also- sometimes when you put it in park and shut the car off, it doesn"t always go fully into Park. Then when you go to start the car again, it won"t start until you shift it harder into Park. This happens very rarely (less than once a month).
The driver seat"s leather has some cracks (pictured). The tires are good and the car drives straight, runs well, brakes well, and is very clean. It is really great in the winter, especially! It has very little rust, visible in the pictures of the rear of the car. AC does NOT work- I believe it needs a new compressor.
The tire pressure sensor error is always on. The guy we bought it from said it had all new sensors, and I asked Belle Tire about it when they put the new tires on. They said they"ll reset on their own after it"s driven a while. Google s this year Pacifica takes a magnetic tool to reset them. I got tired of worrying about it- they hold air and have never been a problem.
It has a salvage title. We bought it from a guy who buys cars at auctions and fixes them. A friend was going to buy it and had it inspected at Muffler Man in Holt and it checked out very well, but finances kept him from buying it. We"ve had it for 4 years and have loved it. We"re only selling it because we now have 3 kids and bought a minivan.
