Vehicle description
I bought this car because it"s all Mercedes underneath and drives very well. I use it about 8 months out of the year to drive to and from the airport approx. 5 times a month, approx. 110 miles round trip.
The car was purchased used on a salvage title and I"ve replaced anything that appeared to be wrong. It has new tires on the front (less than a 1,000 miles) and 16 month old tires on the rear (less than 3,000 miles). It got new shocks on the front and new front lower control arms with the front tires to replace some worn out ball joints. It got new rear shocks approx. 3 years ago. It is about 1000 miles into its current oil change.
Has new battery - 3/12/2019
It Needs? ? / Problems:
Windshield has a long crack in it, down low - Not in driver view
Getting a code on the Left front wheel speed sensor - only affects traction control - working on fixing it now - this may or may not be done by end of auction - No Guarantee. - * I have now purchased the part, just need some good weather and a chance to install. * (03/21/2019)
Missing the Passenger side interior door emblem - have never found one to replace it - Not really noticeable.
Door locks go up and down put the driver door slowly unlocks over time - Mercedes used a vacuum system for the locks and I suspect the line in the driver"s door is damaged. - I"ve never actually looked though.
Only have one key. Front was repainted recently to repair some hood and fascia damage, lower grills are still missing.
NO RESERVE!
