Up for auction is a rusty but trusty 2004 Chevy Suburban 5.3L with 4WD and a towing package. The Vortec engines were built to be practically indestructible and it shows.
We"ve put 30k miles on it towing Airstreams. The previous owner was a traveling nurse and kept it in tip top mechanical shape. Runs and drives great.
Brakes were recently redone. Did a tune up less than 1k miles ago. Brand new battery. New heavy duty tires all around. Weather matts throughout. Very nice bluetooth stereo system with upgraded audio system. 3rd row seating. AC needs recharged.
No rips, tears or noteworthy stains on the gray cloth interior. You"ll be shocked with how clean this vehicle is inside. With one exception (not seen in pictures). We did accidentally burn a hole in the back of the 3rd row seating, when we put our generator in the trunk while it was still hot. Not a big deal at all. Other than that the interior really is in great shape.
Outside is a different story. It does have rusted rocker panels and wheel wells from 250k miles on the highways in Michigan, and some scraping on the passenger"s side rear wheel well.
This truck has seen a lot of salt. We"ve had it a few years and it has been extremely reliable. We upgraded and no longer need it. Not a looker but it will do the job. Clean & Clear title in hand. When I titled the truck, I had it titled as mileage exempt because I didn"t bring the truck with me to BMV for inspection hence the AutoCheck mileage issue. But the miles are correct. Also says it was in an accident in 2005 but I didn"t know that until I listed it here because there are no signs of it.
